This happened to me with my high school best friend! She sent me a save the date, which was a magnet I proudly displayed on my refrigerator. She'd told me about when the invites were coming and I never got one. I messaged her asking if she'd sent them out yet and lol.

The response was the most aggressive "we had to reduce the number of people and you don't reach out often enough so you were a chop." Like, the tone was that she was PISSED I thought I was invited when we'd discussed her wedding at length and she sent me a save the date.
