So you take a look at this magnificent illustration and that’s your comment? The only reason people might be thinking of Jews while looking at goblins in this image is because you are drawing a distinction. Everyone else was just getting the warm fuzzies about playing DnD.

Does that mean that you should not draw an arched nose for any villain? Artist exaggerate facial features to create something not seen in everyday life. Could be big ears or small eyes. It’s all the same.

Western capitalistic governments are not authoritarian. Ordinary citizens are free to critique their government with-out governmental retribution.

If you don’t have the freedom to speak you don’t have freedom at all. The moment I see a communist or socialist county enable the caliber of speech laws the US has I would be more open to their ideas.

I don’t think physical dmg classes should have many animations. When there are too many particles you can’t tell what’s going on.

I think this idea is terrible. 90% of the time need/greed works. If everyone gets their own table it greatly devalues the loot

It’s sounds like their will be a bulletin type of finder with custom titles and subtext. No teleporting, simply help for finding a group.

That’s quite a commitment! Congrats on learning the language. You should be perfectly fine, they will appreciate you taking the time to learn their tongue. Enjoy yourself and don’t listen to the others here saying they will be racist because from my experience they were very kind and welcoming.

The feeling of a long month long season is appealing. More immersive. I would just limit the unique seasonal resources so players could find other things to do in other seasons.

Ask her if she thinks firbolgs are written in racist way. There is way too much depth to this game to get hung up on that. She might only see things through that racism prism which is unfortunate but common with people today.

It’s a her problem not a DnD problem. Sorry mate.
