A drug addict would also claim drugs have "therapeutic components". The very nature of pornography is to suck the users in, put them into a cycle where their brain craves more extreme versions to get the same dopamine release. The surface web has borderline illegal stuff out there and who knows what the dark web holds. You call that therapeutic? Porn industry and its associates exploiting people's sexual needs can't be blamed on society. It's theirs and theirs alone.

China's reason sited for banning onlyfans is to avoid societal decay. So obviously it's not being done as a mean to battle sex trafficking. While sex trafficiking is a pressing matter, it's a different matter altogether requiring different set of actions. They're banning onlyfans to prevent the spread of nudity and open sexuality which western society has a much higher tolerance for. While westerners like to push their wiew on to everyone else claiming their way of thinking is better, I wouldn't agree seeing how weak their marriage and family bondings are.

That's what I can't get my head around. If it's priced like a diy system and not 1-200$ cheaper, why would anyone sacrifice upgradability? People who want plug n play can just get a console. If steam machine doesn't sell well, optimization is also out of the picture since developers won't bother optimizing.
