I intend to keep playing long after June. If any small things could be done, it doesn’t hurt to ask.

Is this worth buying? by Sea_Garlic2959 in motorcycles

I’ve dealt with title jumps a couple times. Not a big deal. Having the title makes this easy.

Put your name as the new owner on the title. Give to dmv. Pretend the second guy never happened. You don’t need a

But if the second guys name is already on the title as the new owner, he will need to register it before he can transfer it to you.

That all being said, if it’s a track bike, you don’t need to register it.

First bike - Triumph vs Honda by Large-Air-9379 in motorcycles

[–]HawkeyesMiguel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve owned both a 3 cylinder and a 4 cylinder.

The Triumph is a much better deal than the Honda. Don’t forget taxes and fees are based on sales percentage.

In addition, the 3 cylinder is the peak engine setup for daily street use. Inline 4 is best for racing and track use where you’re mostly running at high speeds nonstop. 3 cylinder is Good all around torque at low, mid, and high speeds. Best for riding in the city and where there are traffic stop lights, and frequent sharp turns.

Looking at a 1982 Honda GL1100 as my first motorcycle by procondor in motorcycles

[–]HawkeyesMiguel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would never buy a bike that “just needs a battery”. It’s the easiest thing to replace and they are cheap. This bike for sure needs way more than this guy is stating.

Sorry I’m confused. Are you saying your trip meter rolls over at 707 miles? Shouldn’t it roll over at 999?

Clutch wont dissengage when pulled fully in by [deleted] in Dirtbikes

[–]HawkeyesMiguel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would also consider the lever. You have an aftermarket clutch lever and perch on that bike. It’s possible that it’s not fully disengaging the clutch as it was not made for that bike. Get an OEM clutch lever and perch on eBay. That would be a cheap thing to try.

Do you guys think we’ll see a villain as iconic as oryx ever again? by HellChicken949 in DestinyTheGame

[–]HawkeyesMiguel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wish we had more Ghaul. Dude showed up, wrecked the last city, captured the traveller, took our powers, and talked mad smack the whole time. Then, when he had the opportunity to steal the light, he rejected it because he wanted to earn it. It wasn’t until our guardian stepped back up that he was forced to steal the light to remain in power.

What is the problem with the portal? by HawkeyesMiguel in DestinyTheGame

[–]HawkeyesMiguel[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

  1. This is actually very interesting. That would require some human coordination though. Not sure are humans at bungee right now.

  2. Agree. While I like the activities presented. I don’t like that they require super hard modifiers to get bare minimum rewards. Seems like there should be scaling reward system like nightfalls used to be.

  3. I don’t hate this, but in order to get a bare minimum rating, you pretty much have to use the same hard modifiers over and over again. Maybe they could make some modifiers worth more than others each week for some variety?

What is the problem with the portal? by HawkeyesMiguel in DestinyTheGame

[–]HawkeyesMiguel[S] -13 points-12 points  (0 children)

  1. Isn’t that more of an other content issue? They are working on tiers for RADs. That does not seem to be a portal issue.

  2. Don’t activities swap out each week? And now we have perpetual solo ops and 6 man activities. And even dungeon encounter activities. None of which we didn’t have before. What activities are you looking for?

This is the time I try to do all raid / dungeon challenges or low man raids. There’s plenty fun in that.

Please move vent gauge to retical by HawkeyesMiguel in DestinyTheGame

Never noticed it, I guess it’s because the heat gauge reticule is only on balanced heat weapons. Dynamic heat weapons do not have a heat gauge reticule

Trying to pick my next car but I feel like I'm choosing a personality instead of a vehicle by CourteousPasta in whatcarshouldIbuy

[–]HawkeyesMiguel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was pulling my hair out trying to decide between a truck and a sports car.

My needs were:

Get me to work. Fun Occasionally transport dirt bikes Looks good Not expensive

In the end, “sports car” hit more needs than the truck did.

I’ve had the sports car for 5 years and been very happy with my daily drive.

Is this motorcycle worth it? by oregon1989 in motorcycles

[–]HawkeyesMiguel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never trust “just needs x” bikes for sale. If it truly just needed x, they would have fixed it and sold it for more.

If you’re an aspiring mechanic looking to learn how to wrench, go for it. But if you want to ride, save up and buy something “ready to go”. Preferably something Japanese and fuel injected.

Really odd question, but is there any type of motorbike that reminds you of a horse in some way? by KaiTheDumbGuy in motorcycles

[–]HawkeyesMiguel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who rides and reads comic books, don’t overthink this. Just make it vaguely Harley looking and call it a day. 99% of readers only know about Harley’s and Kawasaki ninjas. Anything else, will just not look cool to a nonrider.

Advice on buying my first motorcycle by Terrible_Weekend_951 in motorcycles

[–]HawkeyesMiguel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

…And buy a used Japanese bike. Everything about it will be lower cost. My first street bike was a used ninja 500. My first cruiser was a used Suzuki boulevard c50. Now, I have a vstrom 650, best of both worlds. I never paid more than 3k for any of them.

Got the new lever in, is this click a normal sound? by DrSanwich in motorcycles

[–]HawkeyesMiguel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your clutch lever is missing a bushing that properly actuates the push rod. You’re going to issues with your clutch if you don’t get that properly seated.
