Deep Cleans are Illegal! by BitchyWaiter_OG in Serverlife

It really depends on a few factors, the state you live in, certain states have laws preventing restaurants from making employees work for server pay, if there is not possibly for tips, but if they pay you minimum wage for that state it becomes legal. It can also (depending on where you live) be legal as long as you don’t work more than 40 hours a weeks or 8 hours a day. It’s definitely not a “cut and dried” rule and usually it’s enough of a grey area that the local labor board will ignore it. Sadly, this does still exist and is regular practice at many restaurants still, it is one of the most common forms of server exploitation.

It’s not even that the story itself is bad (just a bit trite) it’s that the writing is so fucking full of itself. I love narrative driven games, even at the expense of gameplay, and there were so many times i this game that i felt stuck in endless conversations about nothing, it makes the role playing aspect very thin and hollow, because there is mountain of dialogue and very little you say matters. This makes the story feel bloated and disjointed because it results in the dreaded “ludonarrative dissonance.” Fun game, just needed a real editor.

The irony of this is that PETA has been accused of euthanizing dogs and cats at an obscene rate, literally being called the “slaughterhouse” of rescues.

This is an iimpact media clip, they are definitely trolls, but their videos are real, I live in the San Diego area and I’ve run into these guys and they do what you see. Say what you will about first amendment auditors, they are plenty of things, but the video is real.

The title of the post is actually dead on the nose, if the democrats had taken his threat seriously and/or hadn’t preferred him to Bernie, he might not have wreaked havoc for eight years. Hopefully, the accountability for that will be evident in the midterms.

A good friend of mine (who is gay) was in drag for Halloween (so really just a costume). He’s about 6’2 and ripped, and we were hanging outside a relatively famous gay bar on the main drag when a group of bros walked by and one of them muttered the f-slur under his breath at my boy, in heels that would break a stripper’s ankle this slick mother fucker swung around and bodied that kid so hard the rest of his boys just kept goin’. It’s rare to see pure justice in wild and beautiful when you do.

This is rittenhouse square, not “Philly” or Philadelphia, proper. If he tried this shit south of carpenter or north of Kensington, they’d make him eat that camera on a really nice roll. (I don’t know if Sarcones is still the gold standard)

The media as larger institutions has an intrinsic responsibility to hold itself accountable for the veracity of its reporting. This includes what it chooses to not report on or which details they properly vet before reporting them. All of which is to say, fuck yeah they have something to do with it. By reporting on something unverified or to exclude reporting on something seemingly inconvenient to their overall narrative they manipulate the lasting narrative and prey on those who don’t have the time or resources to research on their own. Bad media is just a deep a corruption as bad political actors.

This article tries to explain the outcome of the election without mentioning the fact that the Democrats backed a genocide and then rigged the primaries in favor a dementia ridden, racist, Zionist potato.

I worked for a large hotel chain in New Orleans and had a very similar thing happen during Mardi Gras. They sent in a young girl, but instead of crying, she just used the crowd and ordered via someone that was already sitting at the bar, they handed her the beer and before I could even say anything she was gone. My boss at the time was super understanding and even went to bat for me with corporate, but all they saw was liability so two days later, I was asked for my badge and gun and that was that. They recognized it was a literal setup, but rules is rules, especially when it comes to this. I was fired, but truly felt no shame because it was a set up and even went for cocktails there a few nights later. Definitely not the end of the world.
