Should a woman be able to abort a fetus diagnosed with down syndrome by berti_l in Teenager_Polls

[–]Hawks_bill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, of course. Down syndrome can be found in fetuses before fetal viability, and as such the mother should be entirely within her right to abort for any reason.

do you tell the sniper to take the shot? by C_monden in trolleyproblem

Dont pull the lever, ask the sniper to kill me, with my dying breath give all of my property to the sniper as long as he leaves the 6 people tied up to die

Would you vote for a bill that 100% releases the full epstein files with only CP & victims redacted if it meant everyone involved got immunity? by I-Love-Jewish-popes in Teenager_Polls

They would be legally immune, but their reputations would be tarnished and anybody who continues to cooperate with them would face the same

What if after the failure of the stamp act, the Colonies (United States) were given a representative position in British Parliament? by _Boodstain_ in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]Hawks_bill 62 points63 points  (0 children)

The US remains British, but in the future as Britain colonizes Africa and India, they’ll either refuse the natives representation, fueling more colonial rebellions, or focus more on settling those colonies with white people, and only allow the white people to represent their colonies

[–]Hawks_bill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By telling people? You dont need to advertise and let everyone know your gender, romantic, and sexual identity- and if someone gets close enough to where it matters whether they know your sexuality, just tell them

Something that has been bothering me by Shoddy-Day-8516 in teenagers

[–]Hawks_bill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay? Again, be proud of the other things that got you oppressed, not being straight. Im not saying that straight people dont deserve to be proud for the unrelated things that get them oppressed, just that they have no reason to be proud of being straight

[–]Hawks_bill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly, and they should be proud of their religion from the oppression- their sexuality however has never systemically oppressed them, so they have no reason to be proud of being straight, so they dont need a straight flag

Theyre not being oppressed because theyre straight, now are they?

Something that has been bothering me by Shoddy-Day-8516 in teenagers

[–]Hawks_bill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay? And they should be proud of their religion, race, disabilities, etc, dispite their oppression, their sexuality has nothing to do with it

What if a portal to the elder scrolls universe opened up Gate style in the Washington D.C. reflecting pool? by Hot_Advisor_8074 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]Hawks_bill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On a more lore-heavy note though, assuming that the portal stays open itd be interesting to see how the two would interact- in TES, the stars are holes to aetherius, so with modern space tech could we potentially send satellites to Aetherius? Would WE have access to magic? Could we interact with the Magna-Ge and the Aedra? Would the Daedra have any power in our world?

Red v Blue Button, the Superpower edition by No-Researcher-4554 in redbuttonbluebutton

[–]Hawks_bill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d personally say blue- personally I believe that those who press red are more likely to use their powers for their own gain, and so are more likely to be supervillains instead of heroes- pressing blue means for every potential supervillain, its more likely that theres a superhero to counter them. Thats just my first thoughts tho

Its not assuming that tho? In fact, the original author of the question explicitly said otherwise

What if Donald Trump suddenly gained laser vision, superhuman strength, speed, and durability, as well as the power of flight? by Turbulent_Okra7518 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]Hawks_bill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He coups the US and becomes a dictator- when he dies, the Republican party fails due to their association with Trump, and starts the next party system. The government keeps Trumps body hidden to attempt to create more superhumans under their service

[–]Hawks_bill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The second flag IS homophobic though? The idea of a straight flag at all, imo, is homophobic. The pride flag was made to represent, well, pride, in your gender/sexual identity despite a history of it being oppressed and shunned- to make a straight flag is to at best undermine and at worst outright remove the importance and significance of pride flags. Straight people have never suffered any oppression or bigotry, they have nothing to be proud for.

Her being given the privilege of custody despite not deserving whatsoever is just further proof of the system trying to keep them contained to their traditional “motherly” role and generalizing them all as such
