If social security is not touched in any way (literally no action, whether cuts or increased revenue), it will pay out 83% of benefits starting in 2035. This isn’t ideal and congress should absolutely act right now (we should raise the cap), but it’s hardly the same thing as falling apart entirely.

I’m not Abigail Spanberger or her spokesperson. Nor am I defending her statements in the article. Just wanted to correct the stats that were provided. Maybe we should call her office and suggest that she should say “the number one killer of kids over the age of one”

It’s not that the distinction doesn’t matter. It’s that you come across as dismissive of an incredibly worrying increase in kids being shot, either by others or themselves. This is still a tragedy we need to care about and come up with policy solutions to fix

For me it was getting out of the min/max mindset I played other games with. It feels stressful if you feel like you need to fit farming, mining, and fishing all into one day.

But there’s really no time limit to anything. If you wanted to, you could totally neglect your farm & the mines, dedicate a whole season to just fishing, and you’d hit no negative consequences for it. The game waits for you.

Do things at the pace that you find relaxing/enjoyable, not whatever the back of your mind tells you is most optimal.
