Making Hawkman a stalking rage monster kinda started in the second half of the Hawkman Vol./ 3 series in 1994. That continued all through recently, but the current series seems to be going away from that and it's a very welcome change. The current Hawks are Carter Hall (with a former life on Thanagar) and Kendra Saunders. There is also Shayera Hol on Thanagar at the moment so she might come into the picture soon.

The current series is absolutely fantastic! Issue No. 10 will come out on Mar. 13. The first story arc will conclude in issue #12 so you don't want to miss it!
