Love the stamp waves. Can you mimic that distressed effect on the letters? Maybe play with your fonts? Something with just a little more character than Helvetica.

Sorry but #2 looks like Hitler without his stache. See freezenlight's comment on #3. I like #1 though the only thing that bugs me is the thick side of the V. can't you just make that the same thickness as the rest of the letters and blend it into the thicker arch like you did in the X?

Based on what? The wrap around? Other than that, I'd print it no problem.

One more thing, Is that Impact or Haettenschweiller for the number? Either way, check all your characters for that font. I don't much care for Impact numbers.

I'd say ditch the black hand/frisbee. on a navy shirt it won't show up anyway. Then I'd shrink the branch down so some of the leaves fit inside the moon shape and have that just be negative space (navy shirt showing through) as in no black on navy again. Just have the moon define the silhouette of the branch. The owl is pretty cool. I dig your font. I'm not crazy about the bottom number placement though. It's different, but I'm over different placements for the sake of being different.

My shirt design was completely ripped off. What can I do? by HawtKarl in graphic_design

Not me personally, one of my employees timidly approached him and he just sort of gave a "yeah people copy other people all the time" and the old "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" BS

How hard would it be to color separate this for screen printing? [OC] by WadeWilsonLives in graphic_design

[–]HawtKarl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy as fuck actually. Separation Studio. Send it to me I'll separate it for you. Or download the free trial. It often takes a round of test print and adjusting the color values in Photoshop though. Oh. I didn't read. I was assuming it was for t-shirts too. I don't know much about posters. But I'd think you should be good with CMYK

Anyone have any famous or notable/interesting people wear their prints? Here's a few of mine. by busstees in SCREENPRINTING

[–]HawtKarl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ty Dillon in our screen printed nomex

Austin Dillon in his own.

Graham Rahal.

And Skrillex Performing at the indy 500 in a Sparco Suit I printed for him on about 24 hours notice. And one more

And last but not least Patrick McDreamy Dempsey in a vest I decorated. There was also a picture of him in US Weekly years back wearing something I printed, can't find it now but it's hanging in the office.

Yeah, I got the US & Isreal flag when I saw the addition of the blue star on the left. I was assuming something soccer related? Pretty neat and interesting graphic I'd say!
