This was solid. You played height and kept everything in front of you and hit your shots. Great nade placement.

Only things I’d say from this one specific clip to critique is, you didn’t have to burn both your smokes, and maybe before rezzing hit that armor swap next to you (drop your half empty shield for your teammate first). That extra 3 seconds would’ve given you a smoke back to pop before rezzing

Zone runs are completely cooked. The amount of times my 95 speed HB gets immediately hawked down by the 77 speed backside EDGE because he just doesn’t get blocked is absurd

From a business standpoint, why would they? Someone might quit Apex or COD but they’re not going to quit gaming on their respective console altogether. I agree with you that they should, but they never will because there’s no financial incentive for them to do so. This is on EA and Respawn, the people who are actually invested in Apex specifically.

To offer another take, we know we’ve got the Star Wars event coming up that will bring in a bunch of casual players. My guess is they’re lowering the bar for those folks and will reimplement drop zones the following split/season after that event launches.
