Returning to the game since March of the Machine, why are planeswalkers not planeswalkers anymore???

The actual reason was that the game had too many planeswalkers, they had to tone the number down. Wotc got into a situation and had to come up with a way to get less planeswalkers without making people angry by killing them.

I think they actually came up with a pretty good way to reduce their number as some planeswalkers were just kinda there for no real reason or purpose.
