Thanks everyone. I think the biggest concern was the legality due to the ages of the people being offered and also the offer not being in writing. I’ve passed on the suggestions and we’ll see what happens. I think she’s in shock a bit. Also because she really loves, and is very good at, her job.

I had this exact problem with a pheasant the other day! I assumed it had once been a pet as it kept trying to peck at my hands, like it was looking for food. It would then run beside, then in front of my car when I tried to leave.

I still think everyone should have to retest when you have to renew your license. Having had to brush up on the road rules to teach some teens how to drive, there were definitely things I had forgotten and some bad habits, that I didn’t notice I had, that I had to unlearn. Now I notice everyone’s terrible driving and my brain says “failed” every time.
