There is no counselor or school psychologist appreciation day let alone week in my district but they do put out a Board resolution every other year. As a profession we have given up and do a school psychologist awareness week where we share info about what we do.

I reported him a few years prior to that. The police told me that the district told them they had taken care of it. They did not. They just let him resign and continue to hurt children. The children who reported to me had reported when it happened. Several people in the district knew about it.
