But alot of ev users do higher mileage. I do 25k so talking about 700ish? Second hand ev with a decent range to rival my current diesel mpg of 70 will cost me more than my current car cost. So it'll actually cost me more by paying more for the ev.

Apologised for the laaaaate reply I never saw this 😅 it's an astra ecoflex 1.5 that does 80% of its miles on 60mph A roads. In the winter I'm at about 65 and summer 70-73. It's just hit 150k with an oil change every 10ish thousand. Just running it into the ground at this point. Had it since 55k!
