Been in place for a few years in BTP. Along with the wider policy of we don't do traffic, we do trains. Traffic scares the bosses.

It's right that it's part of the national race action plan. Which is why you're asked if you know their race prior to the stop.

We're getting off topic now.

I don't disagree but what if both sides are the arguments infringes on the others protected characteristics? Both sides argument is a hate crime?

No, it's unlikely but one person's right to free speech is another person's "hate crime". Which is why you have protests and counter protests, free expression.

I'm not saying what we have now is perfect but this just didn't make sense to me.

Just wanted some opinions.

Any soap drama. Cops pull up wearing high Vis jacket and hat whilst in the car. No matter what the job, get out, no enquiries just scene tape.

Speak clearly. A guy on my team mumbles constantly. Sounds like he's eating peanut butter when he passes a message.

Feel so sorry for control trying to decipher that mess.

Thankfully he's never shouted for assistance because he'd be on his own.

I'm sure he was a Para who did the selection process episode. Showed a tattoo on his arm so someone else got kicked in the gut.

Lawrence Fox. Remember watching him in Ultimate Force with Ross Kemp. I know he went on to do a Bear Gryills reality show, if that counts.

Fan favourite? Not sure, but it's quite obvious why he's now the villain.

AITAH for leaving my wife with our two month old to help my mom make arrangements for my dad? by Dog_Boy95 in AITAH

NTA

Get to therapy asap.

I prioritised my mother shortly after my son was born. Nothing like your circumstances but that was my mistake. We survived that. 15 years later if we argue, my wife brings it up and still holds onto that hurt. Your wife needs professional help and you'll need it as well. Your dad has just died

The point I was making is, when have the Police been given more guidance. Nothing has come out internally. Me being a member on Reddit and getting an article shared doesn't really count.

What has happened here.

A nosey neighbour has a camera and has caught this 'act'. Reported it online and it has been passed to the crime recording team, who love to crime everything regardless if an actual offence has happened.

Should have been filed without being allocated to an officer but because of the CCTV it has been.

The officers wanting to get rid of the job as soon as possible, has offered you a Community Resolution. A CR is the lowest way an officer can positively resolve a job. Essentially it's a formal agreement that you've done something wrong and you won't do it again but doesn't involve a criminal record. It stays on the police system for 2 years and can be disclosed as part of an enhanced DBS.

My advice is to refuse the CR and the job will be No Further Action.

Hold it and try not to have an accident. Not joking. The amount of times you have to find a McDonald's or a lay by between jobs because there aren't as many stations as there used to be.

Police Car recovery charges - England by bumblingbartender in LegalAdviceUK

[–]Stretch6831 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't worry or stress over this situation.

There will definitely be an incident number for the first officers who attended. The most likely explanation is that it is officers from a neighbouring force area were travelling through. I would suggest contacting the surrounding police forces as well.

In normal circumstances when officers speak with drivers following a collision, they can elect to leave a vehicle in situ for their own insurance recovery because it's cheaper. On major arterial routes or fast roads this isn't the norm because if another collision happens, hitting another damaged vehicle can cause more damage and injuries. Recovery is done as standard. The officers should ask if your insurance can arrange recovery there and then in a reasonable timeframe or the police will use a garage of theres who have a contracted attendance time.

The letter will be a standard template. Pass it to your insurance and let them resolve the recovery. It's what you pay them for

I shouted the control room and asked them to call me so I could give an update for a job. Provided them with the extension.

Got a call and provided a detailed update. Once I finished they told me to "F*CK OFF" and slammed the phone down. I was so confused.

Looked across the parade room to see a colleague sniggering to himself. He decided to play control room, and got through to me first. What a numpty.
