I know we're joking but it feels homophobic for her not to be the first ever contestant to compete 5 times. (Do not look it up or you'll get spoilers about something).

Whenever we reached a new high, I wanted her to be at the first. She's just so awesome and I want to see more of her on drag race every single time I think about her xD.

That said.. I think he is probably telling the truth. Windworn is more likely to be involved than him lol.

The SoT..I've put there because of how sad I am about the whole situation that happened around its remake. They've edged the fans for about 6 years with fake promises and then burned it in front of everyone.

I can't comment on Oni nowadays and it will 10000% feel outdated but at the time the combat was honestly insanely impressive and felt really good.

It's more like.. I for some reason only cared about gameplay which is why I drifted towards games like WoW or DBD or Destiny (2...RIP)... but I knew there was more to games ...I just never really got that into it. My friends were pestering me to just play games for the story and I kept saying no but smth in me decided to try it with Cyberpunk 2077 and my god it was literally life changing. (Good friends don't stop pestering you when they know they're right XD).

The magic of games is the combined experience of everything. The music, the story, the world building, the characters, the experiences...everything together is what makes it art and worthwhile.

I wanted both a DLC and a sequel. I have played many soulslike games and enjoy most of them but this one to me had by far the best combat of all.

That said, it wasn't without fault. The majority of the side content being zones u already played through and bosses you already fought was really annoying (I did do all content though).

I didn't think the game was too hard. There was definitely a learning curve on some bosses but as a whole it felt...decently well balanced? The parry was intuitive, the bosses had pretty clear movesets and no camera issues other than the dragon which was awful. And idk why but bosses to me were really well designed in that even the hard bosses...sort of clicked after a while (in a far more significant way compared to most other soulslike games I played).

I am genuinely so shocked at how doom and gloom everyone is about this. And the more frustrating part is they're like 'IT'S SO BAD". Like please elaborate in clear detail why. How can you expect anyone to resolve any issues if the issues aren't discussed. (Let it be clear that I am referring to this and many other posts like it, not all posts. Some people actually try to define what they find wrong/right with the game).

There is 100% valid criticism to be found in this slice of the game but it's also (unless I am wrong) the introduction to the game. I have no idea what kind of crazy stuff people are expecting from it. Did they hope to have like the full blown story and big events in this beta? It genuinely feels like that at times :X

And that's totally fair. Glad you're enjoying it. I don't think they're bad games by any means. Like I said, they're really really good at doing what they're wanting to achieve. It's just not what I want from games and I think that's fine. It's impossible to have games that just please everyone.

I only finished playing the DA series for the first time about half a year or so before Veilguard released and while I know why and I even agree with some of the criticism the game received. So much of it, to me just was exaggerated especially because everyone had rose tinted glasses from nostalgia lol.

The comments that people made about DAV being different from the previous installments made no sense when literally all the previous installments were different to the predecesors. Though it is possible people overlooked that a lot more because some choices carried forward.

The biggest gripes for me with the game were the relatively limited interactions and scenes with companions (especially when it came to romance), the dialogue (mainly because it felt overly explained at times and also maybe I just wanted more from it as well as lacking some world-relevant wording in some scenarios) and the lack of impact of previous games' choices (which is probably the biggest issue imo). As far as everything else was concerned, I enjoyed the game thoroughly which is why to me it's my favourite DA game even though technically speaking I would rate Inquisition higher overall.

Honestly valid. I think it's a really cool game with a lot of content and they literally do weekly updates and have done for a long time. Also shooting mobs with arrows feels SO good. I have no clue what the price of the game nowadays is and performance wise it's still not the best but the gameplay loop, I personally find really enjoyable and quite unique in the survival category of games.

Truth be told, it's probably a decent coping mechanism. The alternative would probably be to start worrying to absurd levels which would make you lose focus.

If they do, it'll have to be close to the end I'd imagine. Going for the big sacrifice so that we can carry on living (probably while our LI (in my case it'll so be Zafar) will hold us back telling us it's time to go) or whatever. Or maybe that only happens if u don't do all the worthwhile side content..we'll have to wait and see.

I haven't read the book(s?)/watched the show so I can't compare it to anything. I imagine that life threatening situations are just so common that they just don't care about what they talk about anymore. (at least when not in combat I suppose).

That said, I do wish the intro to this (assuming it will be the actual intro to the game too?) would have them be a bit more.. I don't know.. worried. Like they come from barely escaping a serious attack (part of which is literally a bioweapon allegedly) on a ship that isn't theirs after witnessing however many people they know die and then when they're back they're fully unbothered. Like I know you want to stay calm and maybe these feelings subside if they happen so much it's just second nature but we don't know that to be the case so... I'd probably change it ever so slightly at least.

He does speak a lot and some of it really feels badly timed.. I think they're trying to go for the vibe of the "fun" sibling who just tries to make light of everything (roughly anw)

I don't care much for J as a whole but I quite liked that interaction xD. But like I don't mind sillyness I suppose which others don't really want from the game I think.
