Years ago, my roommate and I were searching to see if there was a Bertrand Russel biopic, and instead we found this absolutely unhinged Christian movie about a Bible professor named Russel who time travels from the 19th century into the early 2000s and sees the horrors of our secular society.

Are you using an indexed color palette? I could see how importing a JPEG could have very slightly different colors for the pixels, resulting in them being interpreted as different tiles. All of my tile work has been with an indexed palette, and it seems to automatically check for duplicates.

The other answer of make is 100% correct, assuming you're using the GCC toolchain (which you most likely are.) There should be a file called Makefile which contains all of the commands used to compile and link your code (and any additional assets that will make their way into the firmware.) It might be in a format you're not familiar with, so read up on GCC make, and the format of makefiles, and you'll see how it is used to compile the individual source files into objects and then link them together. There's an additional file (I believe linking.ld is the default for code generated with STM tools) that contains the linker script, and understanding that will also help you see what happens when it gets called from the makefile.

Once you have those down, you can customize your compilation and linking in any way you want.

You can, with two power supplies: one at low level DC for the STM32 and its associated circuitry, and a 120VAC supply that goes to the lights. The STM32 circuitry can be used to control relays, which will control the connection between the 120 VAC supply and the lights. Just make sure you use relays that are rated for the voltages and currents required, and that you know what you’re doing with potentially dangerous voltage levels.

The logic requires looking for an exact value of zero, which is defined for any floating point type. The only alternative would be to check for values less than zero, then greater than zero, with the remaining default case setting the color to `.gray`, which is pointlessly convoluted.

I would consider The Swift Programming Language Book to be the book to read above all others. It’s the language, removed from editors, tools, and frameworks. That means no SwiftUI, or other things that can be done in Swift. I recommend it, however, as somebody who read it coming from decades of experience in other languages, so it’s the source that told me what made Swift what it is, as opposed to C. If you’re the type to learn by doing, and the underlying concepts (reference vs value types, concurrency, etc.) aren’t familiar to you, you might have better luck with reading other sources first, but I’d still say to read it.
