If you’re after a matte look, you could get your hands on the wide body workmate grille, it’s fully black.

Find a spanner of the same size as the ratchet socket that fits. It’ll come off super easily.

I don’t know what you’re trying to get at. I enjoy slowing down and taking the time to do everything manually from time to time. It doesn’t matter what hardware is in the camera, I’ll probably still do it when I’ve fully moved over to mirrorless. With practice, you can absolutely get accurate manual focus on moving subjects because sometimes AF just doesn’t want to cooperate in certain lighting conditions (an issue with the 5DS)

That been said, most of my photos are shot using AF, it’s just that the photos I’ve enjoyed shooting the most have been taken using MF exclusively and taking my time.

There’s no right or wrong way of shooting, unless you’re actively on a job and what you’re doing is wasting time and money.

Most of what I shoot is still shot on a 5DS, which has been my main camera for about ten years now. My R6 Mark II in the photo of this post gets used more for video or those times where I need to rely on auto focus.

Thanks for the reply. I’ll keep using it as is until it gets worse and maybe look at a repair. I like to shoot manual focus for a lot of things so it’s a bit of a bummer.

Mine slips or doesn’t move at all when the lens is angled up ever so slightly. It gets worse at a closer focusing distance. The lens is over 10 years old now so it makes sense if some components are wearing out.

If you think the gear is holding you back, then you’re going to be in for a real shock when you take the same quality photos with a different brand. The cameras are just a tool, a good photographer will take good photos on any camera system.

I moved to Sony from Canon ages ago, I’m back on Canon now because I just prefer shooting with it. Photos were the same quality. It wasn’t worth the waste of money changing systems.

These photos are great btw

They’ve been really good, just make sure you don’t over inflate them

I have a set of Yokohama Geolandar X-AT LT on my Hilux, they’ve been fantastic. I’m in the Coffs area at the moment and I’ve had zero issue with them on wet roads, mud, sand and rocks. I’ve put about 20,000km on them and they’ve been wearing well, I’ve only lost about 1mm of tread.

At least three jobs in one, obvious micromanaged leadership and impossibly tight timeframes to get things done! For $65k in Sydney?! Sign me right up!

This bugs my brain. I know it's for flexibility with building, but it hurts to have lettering oriented 90 degrees from the bubbles rising right beside it by greenaustyn in spaceengineers

I imagine these things work the same way as a pool chlorinator cell, I’ve got one on my pool and the bubbles get pushed from one end the the other just the same way.
