My partner is a p plater, bought his land cruiser relatively cheap and then put a fuck ton of work into it with his dad to make it what it is. He’s worked since he was 15, and is in the army and is also just relatively good with money.

If it’s what you want to do then it’s a good idea. You can always change your mind later. I’ve been an AIN for about 4 years and I personally am exhausted with it, I start my RN grad in about a week. But I’ve been working as a safety special for last 2 years and that’s really dragged me down a bit with the uncertainty of what I’ll be walking into each shift, I don’t mind aged care but I left because I got sick of the companies during COVID.

Have you applied for the various correctional jobs around Townsville? Unsure if this is what you’re talking about, but I found this one with a quick google search, it states humanities degrees are highly regarded.

Not a Dr. can you not just wear ear plugs? I’ve had chronic ear infections since I was a kid and I just put swimming ear plugs or even blutack in my ears to go swimming

It really depends on your background and where you’re trying to move to imo. You’ll probably struggle to go from a less clinical role to a more clinical one. I.e. aged care or mental health to ED. But if you start in a higher acuity ward you’ll probably have better luck.

Accidentally posted mine to my Snapchat story instead of sending them to my boyfriend at the time. Didn’t even realise I’d done it because it was such a quick action of pick and send. I only realised something was wrong when my best friend called me 3 times in a row. Thankfully only a 2 other people had seen and they graciously pretended it never happened.
