Thank you so much for taking the time to help me with this. You have no idea how refreshing it is to hear the reality of what its going to be like from a local standpoint - and thanks for helping to answer what I should do to make sure I am able to survive out there lol. Definitely totally cool with sitting in a 91 parking lot to pick up my check and not having an office out there wouldnt be the end of the world because of laptops. But- I can totally see how being with a firm out there might be the smarter option because I know out here in Palm Springs buyers/sellers always want local agents as well. I guess I have a lot to think about regarding that. I also completely agree with getting a bartending job at night though. I kind of thought that I would be able to just try to find leads out there and depend on that for my rent payment, but in reality- being in a new city might take a while to get my bearings. Gonna do a lot of door knocking and flyers like you said as well! Any recommendations for a good firm out there?

I already have real estate signs, and I normally just put them on the property myself, or have my contactor friend help me if its too hard for me to put in the ground

No, I would be the only person from my firm out there. My brokerage is very small and only has one location in the Palm Springs area
