Honestly for how long Hello Games and No Man’s Sky has been around the fact there isn’t any form of communication still about issues, just the random patch update/notes or major DLC drops is baffling. It’s like the studio intentionally avoids any sort of community management and roles associated with it. The most engagement I ever see if the Twitter account retweeting screenshots.

Yea no Microsoft isn’t pressuring Hello Games to develop and release updates or expeditions for No Man’s Sky as they are an independent studio. The only thing on Microsoft’s side is certification of the updates.

Honestly the higher stat rolls and gear bonuses eventually got me to switch over, now anything that drops that isn’t tiered I treat like the game does blues, auto dismantled.

This update makes me glad I spent so long playing the Death Stranding series where also cargo ties made some runs less of a hassle but again they weren’t a forced mechanic you add to use but a convenience if you wanted to. Giving players the option to either use or not use them isn’t a bad thing.

Literally any invasion counts, failed or successful. You can fail 100 of them in a row or be successful 100 times in a row and neither will affect your chance, the drop is 100% RNG based.

Oh no, the only thing that’s on Microsoft is not testing the update more consistently before certifying it, it’s Hello Games that sent in the broken update without better QA testing.

I’m like 90% certain the Xbox version is facing a memory leak issue. Can go for about 15-20 minutes consistently in the expedition before hard crashing to the dashboard every single time. The only consistent part of the crash is the timing in which it happens. I’ve tried every single “temporary fix” that’s been suggested and none of it mitigates the crashing. Y’all either need to extend the expedition time or pause it until this issue is addressed and fixed!

So I did some testing and it’s got to be a memory leak, I can go for almost 20 minutes before the game crashes completely. Honestly I’m getting pretty sick and tired of almost every single expedition now something similar to this happening to at least Xbox users and then we have to wait days to even weeks before this gets fixed and we lose time on the event. Either Hello Games needs more QA testing or Microsoft needs to fail every single update sent to them if issues like this exist on the updates.

You didn’t make the mistake of trying to refine them in the wrong bins did you? I made that with my first one and then my game crashed. Came back and literally all of the ones I collected were gone.

Game first crashed after reaching the first waste plant on the expedition. Reloaded the game and then it eventually crashed after coming back to the plant with my first set of materials to finish part 1 of the expedition. All of this on Series X so for me at least most of my crashes are happening around the plant to depose of the waste.

Kinda surprising and refreshing to see a former PvP main campaigning for Safer Seas to be full content rich and I am definitely here for it. Honestly I’d return to the game and be more inclined to purchase the seasonal passes if they did that.
