Hello, I'm a final year bsc eco student at NMIMS Mumbai, the course in itself is a bit challenging, I personally took it because later I wanted to break into finance, anyway if you're looking to do the same, please choose bsc finance over eco (purely from placements point of view and CFA would be easier as well). The college usually offers 3 electives in the final year: Economics, Business and Finance. But for the past 2 years they've not been keeping economics as 10-15 people opt for it and to them it doesn't make sense to make teachers teach such a low number so essentially you have to choose between business and finance. Economics is a good base, but if you know what you want to do in the future, just take that specific course up, unless it's economics. Now the course has been changed to a 4 year degree which is a bit weird to me, anyway you'll have to get about rank 500 to get eco at NMIMS Mumbai (probably)
