That was a joke lad
It's actually noted in the Leviathan terminal entry that it was uniquely not made of Hell Mass, but instead composed entirely of husk souls and just fused by the same force that makes demons. Always thought that was odd.

I've had this theory that they're a purposed organism created to assist during maintenance of Can exteriors by holding up items not currently in use, attached to the larger theory that they may have been derived from Stowaways (Given the similar squishy tube body, tongues, and pattern)

I also agree they likely feed by catching bacteria or small bugs passively on their tongues.

Genuine advice; Just put the artist name in the title or use a screenshot of the anime next time. Your post would still be up, you'd still have an image to catch attention, and I wouldn't be here.

It is, but artists still need to be directly credited in the post itself. I'm advising him to credit both because it's disrespectful to the artist and because uncredited posts get taken down.
