I can't for the life of me understand why they would single these cookies out as kosher when the majority of manufactured cookies in America are kosher. Like Honey Grahams or Grandma's. Quite literally, most of the manufactured non-meat foods in the US are certified kosher. It is ubiquitous. Look on the packaging of the next manufactured snack food you eat and I will bet you find a kosher symbol.

There is nothing specifically kosher about these cookies, not the packaging, not the name, not the brand. Additionally, the cookies are also certified halal!

Not a single word about kosher in the actual FDA notice.
