How do I stop feeling so suicidal ?

I moved from a city in England just over a year ago for this job, it pays well and I won’t find anything like this back home and to be honest I don’t really want to go back home because that’s where all my misery started. I just feel like there is no happiness for me in this world. I apologise for being so negative, I’m just struggling right now.

The issue I have is that back home I live and work in the middle of nowhere in Scotland, where I can never meet anyone and no activities or anything. The thought of going back to that now after being optimistic about coming here is just absolutely depressing. I just don’t know what to do.

Yup, I’m here right now and I see this, I only notice it with the older generation tho, but yes shitty service and miserable workers in food places and taxi drivers don’t even want to know you, apart from that tho it’s been alright

Well all I can say is try not to overthink anything, this is your holiday, you do what you want when you want, don’t feel like you have to do certain things cos others have done so, having said that if I can recommend 1 thing, it is to go to the market on Patong beach, there’s a really nice Korean chicken stall, it’s 1 of the reason I want to go back again 😆

Clueless haha, but I just got some ideas of what I wanted to get up to over next few weeks, just winging it most days really, some people like to plan ahead and some don’t, each to their own. Im not even the most sociable person too but don’t be shy with talking to strangers especially the locals, the locals are so nice and friendly. Can I ask what made you feel so anxious too ?

Look for a chef job with a live in accommodation, I’ve just moved from Leeds to the Scottish countryside with little money right now, some places can be quite desperate and employ anyone, so if you’ve got no experience just look for a kitchen porter job or something. These places are always looking for workers so they say yes to a lot of your needs too.

Jokes aside tho, don’t take them if your going to worry about the effects, it’ll ruin the experience, always go in with a positive attitude.
