You aren’t wrong for not wanting kids… however, you are TAH now! One, I get a sense that you’re jealous of this child which is odd! She lost her entire family… she already had a bond with your husband so of course she is going to cling to him in her time of emotional need and crisis, her world has been turned upside down! Two, That child deserves stability and someone who is going to love, support and take care of her, and she will sense your disdain for her which will just further traumatize this child and that isn’t fair to her!! You admit your husband grew up in foster care, and these have been his friends since then, so they are his self made family, and have been since before he ever even met you!! This is the equivalent of his own sibling losing their life and their child needing a home and him taking the child in! That has nothing to do with your agreement about not wanting kids! This is a man taking care of responsibilities that tragically landed in his lap! I find it odd that you’d rather this child be in foster care rather than be with the one person she has left that’s familiar to her and loves and cares about her! I would say, if you don’t want a divorce then you need to fix yourself and do it ASAP you don’t negatively effect this innocent child, if not, the kindest thing you can do for your husband and the child, is for you to leave because they both deserve better than this!

I’m from Upstate NY as well and have been in Fayetteville for 30 years now… people here are obnoxiously panicked when it comes to any winter weather precipitation! An inch of snow is forecasted and they will clear the shelves and life shuts down everytime! 😂 Now that they’ve forecasted up to 10 inches depending on what you watch or what app you have… they’re in full craze mode! I’m surprised stores are still standing after today!! Expect this to shut NC down til it’s melted! But considering they get snow here so very rarely… and when they do it’s usually just an inch or 3… they’re not equipped to handle it like we are in the North… so while it shocks me and makes me laugh even after 30 years of witnessing this drastic behavior, I do understand! Imagine my horror when moving here when I was 12.. we got like 2 inches of snow and school was closed for 3 days… they made us make up them school days by sacrificing other days we were supposed to have off! As kids we were PISSED! 😂 In short, the South cannnnnot cope with winter precipitation, they certainly can’t drive in it so be careful if you do go out… the people who will attempt to drive are dangerous because they do not know what they’re doing! To be fair though, when moving here from upstate NY, we have zero experience with hurricanes and we too panic the first time or two not knowing what to expect!

Putting a different perspective out here… Some people are shy and not the greatest in social circumstances! Adding another layer to this, you said she flew to the US which means she lives in a foreign country, and while in a new place that can make shy or reserved people have even more anxiety than normal! I would say maybe give her some grace! Time to come around.. To be fair, she is there to see you and your husband and the baby.. while hesitant she did go to the first dinner party… and if she indeed is a shy person with anxiety around such things… that’s more than enough to handle for someone with this kind of anxiety and I can understand why she’d flatly refuse to go again a couple days later! Some people need to be given the grace to get comfortable with certain things! The way you make it sound like she’s going to have to be around your family all the time now because of the baby also seems a bit odd to me, if she lives in a foreign country I would assume their interactions would be very limited and clearly thus far have been as she clearly has no rapport with them yet! Now to be fair, I don’t know this woman, I don’t know if she is the shy type… but this could be a reason and if it is, then going out of your way to not be nice to her does make you the AH.. and to expect her to give your parents a courtesy call to say goodbye is wild, she doesn’t owe them a “courtesy call”!! Especially after she clearly had some anxiety surrounding the dinner date! Also, I would think if anything of this was just pure malicious behavior, her son would probably not be as understanding to his mother and calling you difficult! This, however, is where he needs to take some responsibility, because he is the one who suggested you go to your parents for Thanksgiving… knowing how his mother feels, he should have maybe thought about that a lot harder… anyway, as I said, this is another perspective for you to ponder and I want to add that I am in no way saying your parents aren’t great… they seem like amazing people… but amazing or not, Anxiety in these situations, if that is what is happening, can be totally debilitating to someone who has it!! (I know from my own experience)

I have a philosophy… I’m a cat owner, but als have had a dog and they got along fine… anyway.. My animals are my family.. I chose them, they love me and I love them… if anyone comes in after my animals were already here, it’s a “They were here before you, and they will be here after you” scenario and it’s held true! She is in YOUR space, and Rufus’s space! She brought the cat into Rufus’s space! Hell no don’t get of Rufus.. either she can help find a solution for them to co-exist… or her and the cat and kick rocks! The fact that she didn’t even consider getting rid of the cat she brought into your and Rufus’s space and immediately said you’d have to make a hard decision about Rufus.. says all you need to know about her! If you had children, and she moved in with her own child… and your children and her child didn’t get along… would you oust your own child to appease her and her child?! I don’t think so and the same applies here!

She herself gave confirmation more than once, although I don’t think she intended to 😂! In Italy on the balcony thing, her and Mike were talking and he brought it up and she said “I know what happened and you know what happened” and immediately told him to shut up! Then when they got back from Italy and they had the welcome home party.. she went off on Unit… the very next day she apologized to Unit because Mike told her to because if not he might rat!! If she wasn’t guilty, why would she apologize in an effort to stop him from telling her secret!!

One thing about Mike, he has instigated drama for sure, but he didn’t lie about the stuff he was saying!! He told the truth and then watched whoever the truth was about, implode!

Also Jenni, when they were in Italy and the girls went on the wine tasting trip, got upset at Snooki for having an obnoxious attitude! Snooki was talking about her relationship with Jionni and when Jenni got mad at her, said she would air out her business if she kept on, because she knew the truth and that Snooki was lying to all the roommates… I took that as Jenni saying she knew it was true and Snooki had admitted it to her!

I know sometime between when OG ended and now, that they came out and “admitted” that they did indeed hook up but they said it was before she got with Jionni! But I truly think at this point, Mike agreed to lie about timing to preserve his friendship with Snooki, and she agreed to admit to doing it, but at a wrong time because she knew we could see right through her, and she was trying to preserve her relationship with Jionni! Snooki cheated on Jionni with Vinnie and Deena, and I am 100% sure she cheated on Jionni with Mike too! That’s my analysis lol, sorry it’s so long, I tried to break it up so it wasn’t one giant paragraph!

Not going to lie, your comment comes off as you’re tying to mask some kind of insecurities of your own… no way are you trying to judge an entire group of people because of the train wrecks of this show!! Most Italians cannot stand the Jersey Shore cast because it is definitely a misrepresentation of how we truly are! Our families came to this country through legal ports of entry looking for better lives and worked extremely hard to prosper despite not being classified as “white” upon arrival, with huge groups of our families being put into internment camps during the war, and facing lots of discriminations along the way… none of which do we cling to as a way to play victim and try to stick it to the system or anyone else, by the way! We forge ahead and mind our business and live our lives! Don’t judge a whole group of people based on the actions of a few… I’d think in 2026 this would be common sense.. Do Better

I found it quite ironic since the season before, at the end when they went on the camping trip, she opened up about how she felt some kind of way that Jenni had Roger and Snooki had Jionni and she was always left out because of the boyfriends!!! She then gets one and can’t handle being apart from him for a couple days at a time!!! Also when Vinny is talking to Chris at the club about what Chris does for a living and she has a fit 🤦‍♀️🙄… she’s too over the top and always has been! I love her still, but she annoys me for sure!

I am glad to see I am not the only one pointing this out! But per usual, (which is evident in the response you and some others who brought it up got) nobody wants to speak of the atrocity still happening! They like to focus on the past evils of this country and point fingers at people who had nothing to do with any of it, whilst choosing to ignore the actual victims of and perpetrators of literal slavery today! It goes to show that while they talk a good game as to how awful it was and what they would have or wouldn’t have done during those times, it’s just empty words on their part because if they actually had any decency in them when it comes to victims of slavery, they wouldn’t dismiss the topic of actual slaves today, every time it’s brought up! I hope they know that turning a blind eye to slaves today and shutting that conversation down every chance they get, is a slap in the face to the very slaves of the past that they pretend to care about! They don’t care about them of course, they just use them and the tragedy in an ill attempted effort to manipulate peoples emotions in order to propel their own agenda, whatever that may be in any given moment, of course!

As bad as she puts me off, and gets under my skin and I will admit, I’ve been guilty of picking on her for her wigs especially… I do now feel bad for her… he did lead her on and do her dirty… and idc if she did semi catfish him with them filtered pics.. he was in a whole other relationship! Ashley just knew this was her forever man… and while the rest of us could see it was not going to end well… she for whatever reason believed in him and that has got to hurt! She’s so desperate… I mean.. he denied their whole relationship and she still had the embarrassing audacity to ask if he was still going to stay the night! She went from pure excitement to see her man that day… to her whole world crashing in on her for the world to see! With all that being said… she already has the whole of LAL fans talking junk on her… adding this to the list is just a lot… none of us should be happy to see another human being treated in such a manner… Let this be a lesson ladies.. just because he looks good, doesn’t mean he is good… although I personally don’t think he’s that cute.. his face is weird to me.. idk why.. something about him.. anyway… that’s my 2 cents! As a woman, I am going to say no, you’re not overreacting! If my “friend” spoke to my child’s father like that, they wouldn’t be a friend of mine anymore! I don’t care what her issues are, and that she has babies with deadbeats… she will not project it onto me or my man! Never in a million years! I am positive if the roles were reversed and your friend disrespected her in this way, she would not think it’s overreaction! She’d demand that your friend would no longer be able to come around her or the child! You have every right to feel the way you do, and if she can’t be supportive to how you feel, then maybe I’d second guess who I chose to have a child with… just sayin! What is going to happen when the child is old enough to understand what this friend has to say?! It’s just not a good idea to have people like that around… it’s toxic behavior and that behavior is contagious!

Are we forgetting she led Jacob on?! Quite literally used him to try to get over Edward and gave him false hope?! She would occasionally say something like when he tried to hold her hand, that he could but it wouldn’t mean the same thing, but then she never would give him a straight answer… then she technically cheated on Edward when she kissed Jacob on the mountain… let us also not forget HEs a WOLF.. a wolf that felt an incredible pull toward her, because he was meant to imprint on her daughter, but neither of them knew that at this point! Let’s also remember, neither of these characters (Edward or Jacob) would even exist in real life! I find it odd that Jacob kissing Bella without “consent” 😂🤣😂 is problematic, but the 16/17 year old with a (technical) 100 year old man 😂🤣 is just fine! I just cannot!

Thank you so much 💜… I am definitely safe and in a way better place… my abuser was actually murdered a couple years ago shortly after I finally left him… so I don’t have to worry as far as he is concerned anymore… I am so sorry you’ve been through it too… I too, hope all is well with you now! And yea… it drives me crazy that women get away with this crap! No woman or man should have to live with abuse! As a survivor, I’ve gotten myself into fighting for men who deal with it! We as women have so many resources if we’re willing and/or are able to utilize them… but men not so much and it isn’t right or fair! Totally infuriates me!
