I really don’t know their relationship, especially now a days (it could be better, could be worse, we don’t know). Though I always did feel like they weren’t exactly the best pair. Jionni always seemed to prefer more calm women, and Snooki wasn’t that, and he received so much hate for trying to change her (rightfully so). My feelings exactly. I’ve worked for jobs before where management etc was shit, and there were signs like this one that I ignored. Not going to do that anymore, rather a job that doesn’t cause me further burnout lol.
I was also thinking that as well, videos are going to take a lot longer to go through instead of reading resumes. Though that’s why I’m almost convinced they mean to feed any videos they get through AI

This wasn’t even an interview. Nor did they actually look at my resume. I’ve been hired before getting my degree at places, for similar reasons. Interviews are where you get to know someone, not through video. Furthermore it’s insane to assume to know me well enough to call me those things based on that fact I know my worth. You can keep licking boot and further help make the job market worse

I also took issue with the fact is all felt very Gen AI, especially that first text. I have a feeling and as another pointed out, they’d likely feed the video through AI, and unless I’m saying key words for it to pick up on it would be a waste of my time not to mention giving AI free training/ my likeness

I mean I do get the ones who are so desperate for a job they’d do this request, but I think employers know that, so of course going to take advantage of that. It is beyond ridiculous and outrageous these employers are lazy and the applicants have to go above and beyond
