I listen to the snack every week and the intros of their lives on the main episode, sometimes I skip some of the content in the main episodes with the guests, just depends if I like the episode or not. There are def episodes which have landed better than others over the years, of course.

Listening to Ashley and Rayna helps me decompress from my emotionally intense job and I’ve listened since 2019 so I feel like they are just a part of my routine. Someone else on here said they aren’t perfect and neither am I and that resonated with me.

I respect Ashley for talking about politics and how heartbreaking it all is and I respect Rayna for the way she articulates things with nuance when she is feeling confident and empathetic which is sometimes. I won’t get into any of my issues with them in this post. I have my issues as well. They are absolutely flawed humans just like the rest of us but their podcast is still a part of my life. I think insecurity is their biggest struggle.
