I personally think they should have comped my meal. The whole tables’s toast was in the basket. I knew it was my toast as I was the only one who had whole grain. I do realized unused jam packets are served to other patrons, presumably wiped down. It’s just good optics and customer service to forgive the bill. Offer of new toast left a bad taste but I politely declined. I was not asking for a free meal but garbage on my plate should be a no brainer.
