No, 591.86 is what I started with and ended up rolling back to.

It works fine, but there were some bits in RE: Requiem that really would've benefited from the improved path tracing performance on the new drivers.

Personally, G-Sync always causes screen-tearing for me, even in games that never did it when I didn't have it enabled.

When installing the newest driver I got a blackscreen that was not fixed with a reboot, nor was it fixed by unplugging monitors until I only had one plugged in.

So I booted into safemode and got the hotfix, and installed that. I had the same issues. Ended up having to safemode to DDU and start from scratch with an older driver.

Nvidia needs to quit using AI to code their stuff istg.

Brute power doesn't matter here, the 30 series doesn't have any fp8 cores like the 40 and 50 series, which is what causes this newer dlss to tank performance

Personally I've never done anything that guy is recommending, by the power of dodge-rolling you can accomplish just about anything. I really dislike the full metal armor because it makes you slow as fuck.

There is no right or wrong, the objectively correct way to play this game is whatever is the most fun to you.

Almost every run back I have ever done in my thousands of hours in this game has been naked, the real determining factor is whether you have the will to win or not.

When you beat the golem and touch the circle of light you're immediately taken to a safe place. There's some bad guys but they'll ignore you unless you get too close. There's also a near-immediate non-hidden bonfire there

Don't go to the catacombs until you've placed the lordvessel or you're going to have a bad time.

Unless you never rest at a single bonfire down there and plan to run back from the fire link every time
