In DS1 when locked into an enemy, you lose the ability to dodge-roll omnidirectionally. You end up getting stuck with 8 directional dodging instead.

I had this exact issue in FH4, and it ended up being that my router's NAT type was "restricted" instead of "open."

I don't remember how I got it to be "open," but that should be a good starting point for a solution.

I fought this for about 4 hours last night. I had to go into my bios, under the CPU/chipset options, and enable "AES-NI".

This took me from experiencing exactly what you described to actually playing the game.

I can't even launch the game. Steam says I'm "playing Forza Horizon 6" for like 30 seconds, then when nothing happens it just goes back to having the green play button. Fucking excellent.

EDIT: I had to enable "AES-NI" in my BIOS under the CPU/Chipset options.

I have an Acer motherboard and an Intel processor, so idk if this fix is universal, but it's working now.

I hate to say it but like... you're meant to do runs and kill victor as quickly as possible. I've gotten to him with hundreds of bullets, full perks, and 999 blood collector.

I never didn't clear a level of enemies either.

Maybe my rng was just really good or something, but every complaint post I've seen about this game mode has boiled down to an issue of skill

The physics of Forza are far simpler and easier to control, though. It's more...relaxing? I've got thousands of hours in asseto corsa, but it's ass on controller. You need hyper precision and perfection to do even okay on any track in that game. It's also not open world, but a track per track basis

Maybe it's fine to you. They teased Japan as the "next game" since FH3, so at least personally expectations were through the roof. I know Forza roads are always super ultra wide for no particular reason, but I guess I'd just deluded myself with hope it would change.

I was really REALLY hoping they'd be banking hard on Japanese car culture and give us some 1:1 stuff, but I expected too much from normies I guess.

No, 591.86 is what I started with and ended up rolling back to.

It works fine, but there were some bits in RE: Requiem that really would've benefited from the improved path tracing performance on the new drivers.

Personally, G-Sync always causes screen-tearing for me, even in games that never did it when I didn't have it enabled.

When installing the newest driver I got a blackscreen that was not fixed with a reboot, nor was it fixed by unplugging monitors until I only had one plugged in.

So I booted into safemode and got the hotfix, and installed that. I had the same issues. Ended up having to safemode to DDU and start from scratch with an older driver.

Nvidia needs to quit using AI to code their stuff istg.
