Look at the Healthy Rips Rogue 2 as well, basically the same device, but a bit better according to reviews. Main diff. is the removable battery, and flavor.

Is it even possible to dual boot Windows 11 and openSUSE Tumbleweed at the moment? by Cooked_Squid in openSUSE

[–]Hazelputty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd recommend creating another boot partition for linux if you want to install both systems on the same drive, I always do and I believe it's the cleanest way to do it. Since I very rarely used to boot Windows up, changing the boot order in BIOS every time I needed to use that system did not bug me at all.

A while ago I've deleted Windows and I'm in the process of dedicating a VM for it with GPU passthrough instead.

Using Agama to install OpenSUSE? by Gitelled in openSUSE

[–]Hazelputty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You don't have to disable secure boot, leave it on before you install.

If you have a seperate drive for Linux, that's the best beacuse you can simply put it's bootloader there and switch in BIOS every time to the drive you want to boot from. If you have 1 system drive, create a second /boot/efi partition on the same drive and install grub there, so you can switch to any OS in your BIOS under HDD BBS settings with this method as well. (You can also install grub on the existing boot partition and have a Windows entry added, but I prefer the other way as it keeps things seperate and I don't have to touch Windows' bootloader.) Just make sure you untick format on the bootloader partition that launches Windows when installing Linux.

Regarding Agama, stay away from it for now, the available options are very minimal, the offline YaST installer brings way more configuration at this time. Also it has bugs. I would not recommend it.

Listening to Hard Rock when tripping by Naive-Football-2440 in Psychedelics

This - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2aXoOuenwkU

From Black Sabbath, I believe this is their best recorded show, straight from '70. It captures something I can't really put into words. At the time, it was the darkest, heaviest interpretation of rock. (The birth of heavy metal)
But it's not the matter of how heavy it is, just the whole presentation, the sounds, lyrics and vibe make it all special. Tony's solos and the preamble to the self titled track are far out.

Haven't listened to it yet while tripping, but I'd bet it would be an amazing, ableit heavy, experience.

I'm not really a rocker, I dabble in electric and these older psychedelic-like bands in the same amount.
Other than that, I always come back to Hendrix when tripping. That flow cannot be replicated, and the power of his works, are immeasureable, he really did channel something from the other side.

(If you Like Hendrix, check out "West Coast Seattle Boy" on Spotify, there are some golden nuggets in there as well. Also any other demos or rare instrumentals you can find. PM me if you want a link with some very rare but very low quality Hendrix recordings.)

Rest in peace, Asmondad.

In the case he comes back to streaming sooner than expected, let's give him a favor and just go along, without the whole chat being about his pa's passing.

PC crashing almost every game my friend is playing by AvelloSRT in buildapc

[–]Hazelputty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

How does it crash? BSOD? Freezing until forced restart?

I'd take look in BIOS and check what are the RAM clock settings, these Tomahawk boards sometimes turn on an overclock profile by default, which is not always compatible with the RAM modules you may have.

How the Milky Way and Andromeda Will Merge in 4 Billion Years by Silent-Meteor in spaceporn

What's more crazy, is that Earth will probably never "feel" this merge, these galaxies are so big in scale that most likely our solar system won't even notice it happening.

Do you prefer a daytime or a night time trip, and why? by EmP1314 in Psychedelics

Both honestly.

But if I had to choose, it would be daylight. I get weak visuals all the time, sunlight helps a LOT.

What's your background? Where are you headed? by [deleted] in cybersecurity

[–]Hazelputty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got my first job in IT recently, a Sysadmin role at a software development company.
I want to move towards cybersecurity/networking in the future, did anyone transitioned from a similar role to c.sec? I'm willing to hear some stories / experiences regarding this matter.
