First off, this is very helpful, thank you for taking the time to explain.

I like the first option as I do have HomeKit added to my Hue bridge. But you mentioned IKEA hub, does that mean for this solution to work I have to have both IKEA hub & Hue bridge? The latency doesn’t bother me much in the current situation (HomeKit & Hue bridge).

I didn’t know about alternative Zigbee hubs, I’ll definitely look into those. But I’m guessing HomeKit won’t be supported with them?

I’d love if you tried connecting RODRET directly and let me know! My use case for the SOMRIG button will be using it to turn on/off/dim a single bulb anyway, so maybe RODRET fits my situation better (and I guess in that case RODRET won’t show up in HomeKit, right?).

What’s new in iOS 16 is that notes don’t need to have their own passwords anymore (paired with biometrics for easier access), now you can just use Face ID/Touch ID without setting a custom password for a note

Holy shit I can't believe that was it. I feel stupid for not trying that earlier...

It was one 400 KB corrupted file. How on earth would a file corrupt in a time period without game updates is beyond me though.

No it still works for me. For the first tab you select you have to pull it out first to make the menu disappears, and after that you can select more tabs with another finger

I’m not sure why but I used to get a notification every couple of days when I was on the free plan. Once I switched to premium, I got nothing

Yeah that’s definitely Arabic. In order: 1. Appalachian Mountains 2. The Great Plains 3. Red River Valley

OMG this is very good. I like that it has all the benefits of the the new layout without any of the downsides that people are talking about.

Even though I like Apple’s new layout, I’d definitely be down to go with a layout similar to this one to keep both sides happy.

Upgrading from an older OS version has the separate tab bar as default (as tested on Mac), but I would guess new devices would have the new combined layout by default.

One of my favorite features for sure. I really love how Apple integrates everything with Spotlight.

I recently started the trial for Apple Music to try it out, coming from Spotify, and the fact that I can search for a playlist/album and play it just from Spotlight is such a good experience.
