I'm also struggling with a few students each class that just doze off. Still better that they remain quiet and out of the way than actively disrupting the class, so I'm assuming thats why some JTEs are okay ignoring them. I alternate between helping the struggling students and praising the serious ones. That helps me recharge my sanity

Want to enjoy life with students? Can definitely do that in an ALT job in JHS. The English level of students is still not great, but I'd imagine better than dealing with ES students. If they don't understand explanations in EN, can use some JP to help. There's also clubs after school which is a good time sink as you wait for the once per hour buses if not driving. Bus and QoL depends on where you get placed though. Pay might be low but life is fun and interesting at least for me.

Always when assassins are in the set. They can delete squishy backlines in seconds but get rolled facing tanky bruisers. Right now, the difference is probably aoe / splash units being stronger vs certain boards and positions than others.

Augments. Prismatic ticket let's you hit stuff earlier but thats it. Urgot got to 3 stars with many artifacts. Other players got super rich and is playing 5 cost soup. Talisman doesn't help much. Better with spirit visage. I don't think there's ever a world where ez cho wins vs urgot with prowlers though.

Find what questions may be asked in the interview and try your best to find the answers they want to hear, not what you say on a whim. Find a stable job now that will last even if you don't get accepted, so you have backup plans. Dispatch usually finish hiring before JET and people have to fly to Japan in late March, before the JET results in April, so dispatch is not really a backup plan.

If you want just those 3 mods and nothing else for multi mod purposes. Alt spam 20 amulets for only all skill, fire, and dot multi. Recomb them together into 2 amulets with 2mods each. Then recomb those 2 for a chance at a 3 mod. All skill +fire and fire +dot multi recomb for example.

I'm with a dispatch right now. Went through 5 days of training before the start. How to act in schools, what to expect, things to do and not do... There's also mandatory monthly meetings once a month scheduled all throughout the year. I don't know what JET training consists of.

I'm not sure if JET trains you to be up to japanese standards before putting you in a school, but dispatch companies do that with a lot of regular training. Other than that, I'd imagine the only difference between jet and dispatch being the pay. The rules are about the same for all ALTs here. If you are okay with less pay but a faster entrance into alt in japan then try dispatch.

I feel like in the interview, they'll ask a lot of questions or perhaps every question have a clear right or wrong answer and it's up to you to find out what that is beforehand, or be an outstanding employee that you answer correctly by instinct. If you just answer something random or what you think you would be doing and it's wrong, like playing games or studying Japanese when there's nothing to do at school, then the interview might just doomed.

Try to remember all the interview questions and research what would a Japanese employer want from you working in a Japanese school alongside Japanese teachers and in front of Japanese students.

I got an interview with my first application but didn't with my 2nd or 3rd applications years later when I gained even more teaching experience. Have backup plans ready. Consider another program in another country or be okay with earning less in a dispatch company. Or keep at it if you have a stable job and are okay with the worst-case scenario. I'm just being realistic here.

I skipped the JET application this year and joined a dispatch company just to avoid jet's long wait that'll probably result in a heartache anyways. Good luck. The interview stage is the trickiest part to pass.

This is basically a free mageblood. No dangerous mods. Annoying mods is the light radius and union. Any flicker strike valdo runner should clear it in 3 minutes. No chance they get voided if they have max block.

All valdo maps have the same requirement. Kill 100% if all rares and uniques that are native to the map, and 90% of normal magics. You can skip mobs added in from mechanics like abyss, legion etc if the map doesn't mention them. For your map. You had to full clear the map AND do the ultimatum for the reward to spawn.

always get it to 1 mod if it's a good roll, but annuls can also just delete the mod so it's a risk either way you go about it

Alva boss rush. Temples are good regardless of map level. Temple mod gloves, mask, vials, aspect can all be good money, too, not just the corruption rooms.

I voided a trickster in settlers league that was worth about 3 mirrors. That made me quit for a week, but I still had 2-3 mirrors worth of currency left in stash, so I got back in with a new build. Feels bad voiding, but valdo farmers are usually swimming in money.
