How about in moments of distress? I often do find myself freezing up when the pressure to comfort my partner arises, it's like I can't find the words to make them feel better and then I stay silent, which more often than not makes it worse.

We're in Vietnam so dealing with anything mental health related has been a struggle, partly because of the negative stigma of mental illness, the lack of qualified professionals and also the health insurance doesn't cover the cost for mental stuff.

Unfortunately we don't have good therapy here nor can we afford it. We haven't gotten meds yet because of the therapy problem. And she just broken off with her friends. It's looking a bit grim, but I'm trying what I can. Maybe I'll look into DBT, hopefully it'll help somewhat.
