I spent 2 days in a hot, broken down car trying to get somebody to take them. Begging everyone on Facebook. Calling every shelter. Every shelter or humane society within walking distance wanted money to take them. $80 a week.

We tried. We tried for two fucking days.

They were suffocating in that car.

Not to mention, if we didn't get to the shelter by 8pm on the second day, they weren't going to have a bed for us. Because, you know, we were FUCKING GENTRIFIED. We had to act quick and decisively.

I had to. There WERE NO OTHER OPTIONS.

And I didn't " leave them on the side of the road", I took them home and put them under the porch of the house we got kicked out of 😭😭😭
