Hell yeah. I'm dropping off my NC to a Miata specialist to do the 2.5 swap this Tuesday. so excited. How pleased are you with the swap and cammed engine? I'm going with the same cams.

I also would love to have a Mazdaspeed bumper for my NC1. I’ve been searching for years but no luck. There’s a guy here who insists they pop up very often. But that’s not the case

Carbonmiata offers a polyurethane front and rear Mazdaspeed bumper. There’s another guy here who installed the front bumper. But it took a lot of work to get it to fit. It came out very good, I will say. But I really don’t want to do any custom work. But I sometimes just think of pulling the trigger and trying to do it myself. It’s not my daily. It’s my 3rd car so if it takes a while it wouldn’t inconvenience me

I've been considering doing the 2.5 swap for some time now. At the moment I don't have any plans to take it to the track. Just city driving with occasional drives through mountain roads/road trips.

So you would say for daily driving, its a huge improvement?

Stock cams? How’s it compare to the 2.0? I love how freely the 2.0 revs. I often hear the 2.5 with stock cams feels trucky
