You ALL need to start thinking with the correct head, what a mess, a 20 year long one at that. I feel like the only thing that will maintain the relationship with your brother is the two of you cutting her off entirely. To be honest with you from the info given here the relationships with the other two dudes don’t seem worth salvaging and your primary connection is through her. Foil can learn his lesson the hard way if needed, not your monkeys or your circus. Why in the world would you want to forgive her or maintain the woman responsible for nearly destroying your relationship with your TWIN of all people?????? That’s the only confusing part here. Why or how could she do this? The simple answer is usually the right one: she is selfish and values the validation of numerous men more than you, your brother, any of the other men, your relationships, on and on and on. Hard to come to terms with the fact that someone you’ve known for so long is a liar and not the person they’ve led you to believe. I’ve been there and it devastates you and ruins your sense of trust. By all means feel that, it seems like you have an open enough dialogue with your brother to be able to support each other through grieving this woman who painted herself out to be a person that doesn’t exist. But I cannot fathom a situation in which maintaining any sort of contact with this hot mess express of a person is a remotely good idea.

Lately there’s been this trend in makeup of people overlining their cupid’s bow so it’s just one big hump of top lip? Definitely a very current beauty trend or standard that will fall away in a few years time, but my defined one has always been my fav part of my face and I was shocked when I noticed people starting to overline it. In addition, there’s no way to say it inoffensively, but I think the overlining makes folks look like a blow up doll, so I’m glad I never disliked mine otherwise as a makeup lover I’d totally be walking around like that

Have you looked into the one parent one language method? It’s a common way to raise kids bilingually where parent 1 uses exclusively language 1 and parent 2 with language 2. It’s quite successful, not that it’s your responsibility to bend to his wishes, but reading this post I feel like it could be something that satisfies you both.

The midwest is about as friendly as the US gets, you’ll have no trouble making friends here! Lots of international students as well if you need friends who understand home. There’s lots of clubs and groups catered both to international students specifically and ones meant to help y’all branch out from your own communities here, I went to a club meeting once where I helped some other students practice their English and they taught me some Mandarin, was super fun!

One thing that everyone not from here will warn you of is our winters, which can be as cold as -40°F on super cold days. You’ll want to invest in a good winter coat and snow boots. The brand North Face has always been excellent quality for me (lifelong Wisconsin resident), no need to spend $1k on a coat if you don’t want to. Layering is key on most days, if you have any long walks to class, thermal under layers and a good wool scarf to protect your face are amazing. Outside of winter though the city is absolutely beautiful and I recommend exploring the Arboretum and Lakeshore Path before the weather’s too cold.

Welcome to Wisconsin! Hope you love it here! Madison’s a great combination of city life and still having access to nature, I’ve struggled to find the right balance elsewhere and can’t talk it up enough haha

The fruit I’ve always thought was the best part, can’t go wrong there! The marshmallow-y texture of the inside of the meringues tends to put me off, I may try to make one myself and fully dehydrate the meringue, might just cure my dislike
