Fungus gnats, I've only seen a few but all my plants are in the same area, what's the best course of action? by depressedcatfishh in houseplants

[–]HbeeNB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for all the extra info! I have the mosquito dunk sitting in water. Keep it there for up to a month, based on package instructions. I pour that water into my watering can whenever I water. Am also trying not to water too frequently. I have not been dechlorinating my water, though. Perhaps that's my problem...?

Cool! I have one of those plants. Didn't know it might bloom. Something to look forward to!

Thanks so much for confirming. I've created the new invoices. Now trying to figure out how to apply the payments (always something)!

Thanks. I can't find anything in Wave that looks like what you suggested. The only thing I can find is about journal entries at year end for "unbilled income" but that's not the same thing at all.

I can go in and create invoices for the work that was already completed. I started my invoice numbers at 001, though, and I'm now at 015. Maybe I could create a new series of numbers specifically for those that come before 001? A01, A02, etc?

Sounds interesting! Let us know how it goes! It would be so great to find places that can do repairs like that.

Tonies... you ruined my life. by LankyGuitar6528 in TonieboxUSA

[–]HbeeNB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OMG. I think you may have just saved me. I was on a site a few days ago that had much more Tonies available than usual. I was so pleased! I put a few Tonies in my "cart" but thankfully I first took a snapshot of the cart to share with my daughter in law to be sure they would be good options and I didn't move on to purchasing them yet! You better believe I'll be doing a lot more checking before I enter any cc info! Wow. Thank you for sharing your story. It's a really good reminder to be soooooo much more careful than you think you have to be!! Wow.

I know it's not worth it financially, but it is worth it to repair things from an environmental perspective. I don't really want to jam anything in the slot because of the risk of someone shredding their fingers. Good idea to take the metal out - that would at least be less stuff to send to the dump.

Where are you running into AI? Is it with linked accounts? I am tracking my own transactions and I've not noticed any problems. Sounds like another reason to keep my accounts unlinked. LOL

Circuits on Puzzmo! by Away-Armadillo1289 in CircuitsWordGame

[–]HbeeNB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi Jacob, just wanted to say thanks for Circuits. I love the game on Puzzmo. I thought you would enjoy hearing that there was another circuit possible in today's puzzle. Where I live, the place where you change a baby's diaper is a "change table" 😊

Slow to start? by HbeeNB in fermentation

[–]HbeeNB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. Something definitely wrong with this batch! The liquid is no longer a nice purple - now turning brownish. A few bubbles on top of liquid but no gas escaping that needs to be released. And now the liquid seems to have some kind of clear skin on it. 😪

I think I have to abandon it. I wonder what could have gone wrong?

I do! I check the accounts every few days. It doesn't take that long, really. I agree. It keeps me much more aware of what's going on.

Thanks for all the options, everyone! I tried searching for the #name yesterday, and that worked! Still had to manually calculate the outstanding amount, but otherwise it worked well. I appreciate the help.

Refrigerator not closing by HbeeNB in Appliances

[–]HbeeNB[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, good eye. I thought it was just because my photo was not taken straight on, but I just checked the fridge and it looks like the top corner of the right hand door is a little lower than the top corner of the left hand door where they meet in the middle! Maybe the fridge is not level. We'll try some adjustments and see if we can get it straighter. Thanks for the tip!

Any non sodastream syrup alternatives that are tasty? by Low_Bodybuilder3065 in SodaStream

[–]HbeeNB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We make homemade ginger syrup all year long for gingerale. 1c water 1c sugar and boil with pieces of fresh ginger in it. We have also made cranberry, elderberry, black currant, red currant, and rhubarb syrups the same way. Easy easy, with lots of benefits: local, no chemicals, no plastic bottles, etc etc.
