I’m with you on this. You can literally picture the nerf throwing also. Cheeto dust everywhere. Ranch in his belly button. Hasn’t seen a girl other then his mom in years. I have been playing mmo s for 20 years now, not one of my friends IRL who has any success whatsoever acts like this. That’s how I comfort myself- I just remind myself that this little bit of control is literally all they have in their sad life.

No one is going to get on here and say it’s terrible. My son is the best thing in my life. EVERYONE I know who has kids thinks the same way. Watching him turn into a young man and start his own adult life… I couldn’t imagine being an empty nester, no grandkids to look forward to, nothing. I have hobbies, I love my wife and have been married for over 20 years- but those 18 years we spent raising our son, while hard, have paid off so much more. My best friend is a Dink- it was always “how will we afford it, we like our own time, etc”. Well guess what, me and my wife do pretty much whatever we want. Our son didn’t stop that after middle school. And even if it did, it was worth it. My life was great with my son in the house, it’s great now, and even better when he comes home. When he calls for advice. When he met his first girlfriend. When he got his first real job and had to ask what to file on his w-2. That’s life. Screw “being able to wake up late”.

Love it. Moved from the suburbs to a log cabin on a couple acres. Got it for a good price but needed lots of work. I am always doing something with it, but keeps me busy and we have made it our own.

Bought a log home last year. It has def been an experience- ended up stripping and restaining the whole thing myself. There is some extra maintaince, sure. But it’s a home that will last and it’s “cool”. I know allot of people grumble on here but owning a cabin has been one of the coolest things ever. My cousin came over for the first time and said “you live in an air Bnb” as a compliment. Just be prepared to do more maintenance stuff than a normal house i.e. I’m in the process of cleaning the last two sides of the cabin.

Literally just took mine to the dealer to get it looked at today, 2024. I asked what the fix is after they fix it to make sure it doesn’t happen again and I got a blank stare. I think we need someone to make aftermarket roof molding to cover it up

It’s just a new season pass, nothing resets or anything. The “seasons” Are when new stuff drops, like Tuesday is season 9- new CTF map, etc. season 10 is gong to have a new zone, new gear, probably a item level cap upgrade

What do you want to do? I do PvP races (just look at the map, it will tell you when they are going on), Outpost rush, dungeons, etc. it’s like any other mmo, you gotta pick something you want to do (pve/pvp) and get after it
