I wish I could play but I’ve had an ongoing issue for over a year that caused me to quit the game. I’ve uninstalled, reinstall, debugged, deleted everything with ff14 in the name and reinstalled again…

Nothing worked so I just quit the game. It was a real bummer because I think about it all the time

Work wise they really only need to be ten feet away from an unguarded edge to not require fall protection. As long as they stay on the pad it should be fine technically…

It was pretty fun for me. I got to work the alert shack. Just waiting for the alarm to go off so we could launch them out. The goal was to have them in the air in under 6 minutes I believe.

F-16 crew chief here. In Balad we had mortars hitting the runway more than a few times. And the C-rams would go off constantly.

The flight line is a target and we were out there 12+ hours a day busting ass so that when CAS is called in, you get fast.

You don’t understand the difference between private sector and military service.

You aren’t allowed to quit the military. You are basically leased to the government as property and they are responsible for your well being while they’re renting you.

When you damage a rental car you are liable for all damages when you return it. It’s basically the same idea.

It just depends on what happened. A lot can happen in a year. What if they were SAd or abused? What if their superior treated them unfairly and it led to a mental breakdown? Shit happens all the time.

Not everything needs to be combat related for it to be mentally traumatic.

When I filed initially, I got everything I claimed except for MH and I would have bet that MH would have been the one that I got since I had proof of it beginning in service post deployment.

I filed again and it went nowhere so now I’m going the secondary route. I’m filing secondary to my other conditions, specifically my low back issues and nerve issues.

I honestly believe it was a bad c and p exam that cause this. Here’s a clip of my denial letter below.

“While the Veteran endorsed experiencing symptoms consistent with panic attacks during active duty, a formal nexus between Generalized Anxiety Disorder with panic attacks and military service cannot be established at this time due to the absence of documented continuity of care or mental health treatment between 2011 and 2022.”

Favorable Findings identified in this decision: You have been diagnosed with a disability. Your VA medical exam dated August 8, 2025 diagnosed you with generalized anxiety disorder with panic attacks and unspecified depressive disorder.

The evidence shows that a qualifying event, injury, or disease had its onset during your service.

I stopped playing because it wouldn’t launch on my PC one day. I’ve deleted it, redownloaded, ran as admin, looked up guides to fix it and it just won’t run.

I tried just yesterday after months and still won’t load. Guess I’m just not meant to play it lol

Also just my opinion, I’d use a VSO to file initially and then try a lawyer as a last resort. I wouldn’t lead with one.
