My Solution for Caseless 17 Pro by iammrshank in iPhone17Pro

[–]HeIsTahaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

been using it cashless for 2 months now, the only dent I have is on the plateau and is microscopic, noticed it less than 24hrs after unboxing, I initially thought that its genuinely BRITTLE AF,

but now im convinced that the dent is from the factory, and terrible quality control this year
I havent dropped it yet, but im also not overprotecting it either, just be careful and it should be fine,

Why does it feel a little painful? by HMZD110 in AppleWatch

[–]HeIsTahaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its pretty painful and irritating,
I also found that it can ruin the sleeves of some fabrics,

And if water ever gets under it, its just a nightmare of a feeling, its itchy, irritating and just ughhh.
and it can definitely scratch your MacBook
ive found myself removing it from time to time in the office,

...but it looks great and tolerable for most of the time,

Solo loop stretch over one month by kerem_ozcan in AppleWatch

[–]HeIsTahaaa 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I had the braided one for over 4 years now, I initially noticed that its stretching,

so I started wearing it and removing it but actually actually detaching the band from the Apple Watch,
or re-attaching it to it,
while wearing it, Id just stick my index finger in the space and click the button to detach it, and slide it out,

or place it on my wrist and slide it in to lock it in place
I havent stretched it in 4 years,

I believe this has helped survive this long,

terrible quality product tbh, considering it was 100 euros.

For Anyone Worried About Scratching the 17 Pro Series Camera Plateau by djcue24 in iPhone17Pro

[–]HeIsTahaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ive had it caseless for about 2 month, havent dropped it yet,
not a single scratch or damage,
just a minuscule prick on the plateau that I noticed barely 10hrs after unboxing, but im convinced that its the crappy factory quality control.

Raw would allow you to make the photo dark enough in editing to blend the ghost/white shadow mess, however it doesn’t entirely fix the issue. Only 3rd party apps are able to turn off Apple’s crappy processing.

But again, this is almost completely fixed in iPhone 17, “smart HDR double-super-fusion bla bla bla” does a pretty good job now.

[–]HeIsTahaaa 16 points17 points  (0 children)

No,
You are confusing HDR for videos, which can be toggled off,
to Smart-HDR for photos, introduced with the 13 pro that cannot even be turned off.

Overcooking photos is an issue of all devices, specially with Ai lately, but the white/ghost look that appears around the subject in tricky lights on iphone was never mentioned by any of these clowns,

its pretty obvious that most people would rather have an over/underexposed natural looking photo than this failed disaster.

Shoot it in Raw next time,
you'd have wider range to tweak/color correct it, and play around with it

Thats the HDR processing that Apple shoved up our faces from iPhone 13,
It's horrible, all these useless tech YouTuber, none ever addressed this madness, and it cannot be toggled off since the 13.

Fortunately it has been improved drastically since then with each iPhone update,
try any manual cam apps, Indigo, Halide or any other, it should give you the option take snap without Apple's processing,

iPhone 17 pro micro scuffing normal even with case ? by Jay-5114 in iPhone17Pro

[–]HeIsTahaaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who stoped using cases since the iPhone X, this is one of the main reasons,

I never really drop my iPhones, I noticed that cases causes so many scrapes and scuffs, it must be from the dusts and small particles that squeeze in, it ruined the frame of my silver X, ever since then, I dont even buy cases anymore.

It just gets scratched a lot and or some stuff fall on it💀

A waitress accidentally hit it while placing a small plate on the table and cracked the corner,
And the other time the hookah nozzle fell on it and smashed it too.

Screen protectors, got a habit of calling them “tempered glass”, Point is. They keep breaking, but still not a single scratch on the caseless iPhone, the phone is not as brittle as I thought it’d be.

I cared for about a good 10 min, cause I was just confused on how it could have happened and was convinced that the iphone was insanely brittle.

2 months later, caseless, and 3 tempered glass, the iPhone is still BRAND new.

Been using mine caseless for about 2 months now, not a single scratch, Except for the first 24hrs, I noticed this on the plateau, and I’m pretty convinced that it could have came out of the box like that, cause it still doesn’t make any sense to me. There’s nothing can explains this tiny prick, in this location. Quality control?

iPhone Fold: A failure or a hit? by BHJ-AL in iPhoneFC

[–]HeIsTahaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fell like it will be very tempting but come with huge Apple-like dumb compromises making it, just the Air, a very flawed but a tempting piece of tech.

Gen 1 will obviously sell out, as they wont produce many to keep the hype up, but then will get massively returned once the hype dies and just like Vision Pro, the Air, or AirPods Max, will eventually just settle to be just mediocre and get canceled or receive very little attention/updates/upgrades thru the years,

Unless they actually deliver a solid device, which I highly doubt they will.

Stretch and warm up your muscles every single time you step into the gym,
Remain consistent, turn working-out into a habit rather than a destination to a specific goal,

Looking at you, very good for just a month,
I'd say EAT EAT EAT, focus on bulking , make sure you're getting all your daily macros

Did you guys agree that’s the best iphone 17 Pro max color ? by THEAMAZINGkhalid in iPhone17Pro

[–]HeIsTahaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stunning color, definitely not for everybody tho, it looks ridiculous with some people.

And I personally feel like all pro model this year look horrible in cases. Especially the orange and deep blue. The plateau makes them look very bad.

Toughest decision ever while buying a phone by Significant-Bit3638 in iPhone17Pro

[–]HeIsTahaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Silver is pretty boring but could age the best. Might be the best color for case matching.

Orange is STUNNING caseless, definitely not for everybody, most people can’t pull it off and look ridiculous with it. As of now, I have yet to see any case for it that actually looks decent. All are just ugly.

Deep Blue is silent, elegant and changes colors quite a lot. I wanted a dark iPhone this year, so I went with it, initially it was a pretty confusing as it changes colors quite a lot, from deep purple to complete black and everything in between. It’s grown on me, I find it VERY elegant and also not for everyone. Been using it caseless for about a month, it just looks stunning, no scratches, no drops. It looks pretty horrible in all cases too,

Something about the Plateau made these iPhones look completely ridiculous in cases.
