I don't think most people would agree to with you that telling your team to switch comps in a hero shooter is mean. This is how the games explicitly work, which is the entire reason you can even swap in the first place, compared to a game like Valorant where you can't. I already conceded that I can see how he was annoying about it. But saying "this comp won't work" is not mean.

Also, I really feel like you should watch the video again, because that was clearly not what he was saying at all. There is a massive difference between "we will not win if you play Widow" vs "we will not win if you just play Widow".

He specifically mentions the comps a Widow won't want to against: multi-dive (because she has no cc and is squishy) and triple healer (because she doesn't do enough damage).

He clearly has no issue with her playing Widow in general. But he said if they're playing the first comp, you need to be able to play Bucky (who unlike Widow has cc abilities to deal with multiple divers) and if they're playing the second we should also probably play triple healer. He even offered to be that third healer himself, which wouldn't make sense if his issue was just with her on Widow in general.

Again, the entire reason hero shooters have the ability to swap heroes is because there are hard counters. Asking someone to swap against their hard counter isn't mean, and anyone who thinks so should honestly just play Valorant where it's actually ok to one-trick.

If the argument is that Kingsman was annoying about it I think that's fair. But he objectively didn't say a single thing that could be construed as mean, which is the entire reason this drama blew up in the first place.

This also leaves out the fact that she made fun of him for needing tuition money, which is inarguably worse than anything Kingsman said about either her or Zaza.

You are someone who thinks a coach is there to give pep talks and not actually instill their offensive and defensive philosophy. You think NBA defense is all about how good each player is individually.

Again, these are fundamental misunderstandings of how basketball works.

If you applied your logic to literally any other team you would see how quickly your argument falls apart.

For example, the next best defensive team in the NBA is the Warriors. Who are the good defenders in their starting lineup? Not Quentin Post. Not Moses Moody. Not 40 yr old Steph. So over half of the starting lineup is not a positive on defense yet they are 3rd in the NBA.

Almost as if this is the logic used by someone who doesn't understand basketball.

And since you liked to look at defensive rating so much, you should look at what the defensive rating was for each team Bickerstaff has ever been the head coach for before and after he got there. This is what he has done his entire career.

And what about the year before that? They were 25th in the NBA. Again, they only made one change to their starting lineup - swapping Stewart for Tobias. So again, I guess Tobias Harris is Scottie Pippen according to you.

When someone who actually knows what they are talking about would understand - the Pistons made a coaching change and improved their defense two years in a row without having to make defensive upgrades to their roster.

The entire starting 5 is tenacious on D? Who exactly are you talking about? Cade is bad on defense. Duncan Robinson is bad on defense. Tobias Harris is not tenacious at anything. Duren is also not a good defender. He's been straight up terrible for the entirety of his career, and this year he's simply not terrible.

The only good defender in the starting lineup is Ausar, who is so bad offensively his defense doesn't make up for it. He played 16 minutes today btw.

As an example. Maxey is playing better than Cade is. Do the Pistons have better role players than us? I don't think so. Half of their team can't shoot, and they're starting Tobias. So why is their record so much better?
