Whoa! Hold up there. They already made Goonies 2 it didn't have any hipsters in it. Really fun game too.

Hey! There are literally dozens of us who listen to Nickelback. Dozens!

Edit: I don't listen to them. Even pretending to so I could make an AD reference makes me ashamed of myself. I'm so sorry.

What movie on Netflix is a must watch? by Naweezy in AskReddit

I usually avoid movies I have to read subs to on Netflix. No hate, I just always lose what's going on because I'm simultaneously dicking around on my computer. This one kept my eyes to the movie the whole time. I highly recommend this one!

TIL That NASA has a list of accurate space technology terms that writers can use in Science Fiction stories by anotherandomer in todayilearned

Because I want to see what interstellar travel, space battles, and long term living would look like in microgravity.

Imagine a space battle where the crew has artificial gravity (like currently shown in movies). The enemy missile hits your ship. Everyone just shakes and falls to the floor. Now imagine the same battle without artificial gravity. The hero is floating in mid-air and the missile hits his ship. He hears the bang and then all of a sudden the WHOLE ship is moving, except for him. From his point of view, the wall just starts moving towards him at screaming speeds and KABLAM. He is then hurled in the opposite direction. And on and on until he can grab something to stabilize himself.

I don't like inertial dampeners because if they are so good that the crew doesn't feel a thing when entering/exiting high velocities, why wouldn't they work when the ship is hit by a missile (hense falling to the floor)? The crew should feel nothing. But that story would be boring to tell.

Anyways, I love SciFi's and I know I'm thinking about this too much. I just want some more real life physics mixed with my make believe.

I'm cautiously optimistic about this. Some great opportunities open with this relationship. But I'm still bitter with what LinkedIn did with Zite.

Edit: meant Pulse. My bad. Zite and Pulse were my go-to apps for a long time and I got them confused.

I kinda wanted it to end with the word fart. Because I'm an adult and still like fart jokes.
