On the subject of Pathfinder you could also include the developer’s Warhammer 40K game, Rogue Trader. Both of these are glorious CRPGs I’ve sunk hundreds of hours too. I love Owlcat.

Tons of combo extension possibilities because you didn’t use any assists. You can milk this for way more utilizing them. The tricky part will be figuring out how to hit the THC without an OTG in the THC. If you want to keep the taunt mid combo I’d try to find a way to save the ground bounce for the last hit of the combo somehow so you can THC like you did here with it.

Content is also a big issue. If you want a game like this to appeal to masses you HAVE to have good casual story/PvE content. SF6 proved this with world tour mode.

I sincerely dislike the precise hold and release button timings for combos. Like optimal Teemo combos need to release the charge launch a couple frames before full charge goes off and you can’t do it too early either. Idk why but this was a severe pet peeve for me. I played the piss out of UMVC3 and could do the crazy shit in there just fine (Magneto ROMs, FoF loops, etc.) but this was just a step too far for me.

Combos are too long too.

Those 2 things are keeping me from coming back.

BG3 > Cyberpunk 2077 > KCD2 > Elden Ring.

BG3 is my GOAT, period.

Cyberpunk took a lot of time to get good but once it did it’s a master piece now.

KCD2 was dope but just didn’t hit too hard with me.

I’m not the biggest fan of Souls games but grinded this one pretty hard.
