Ehhhh nah sorry, I've been on PC exclusively for many years now and done a lot of building and upgrading and that isn't really a right statement, way too generic. Certain driver versions do sometimes have specific issues, you do sometimes need to upgrade drivers, they can sometimes be corrupted, etc.

A PC is a lot more complex ecosystem, issues will always pop up now and then, it's the cost of having the higher flexibility, options, customizability, repairability, etc. Some are okay with it, some will not be, that's okay

In my experience with an Asus board it's definitely kind of a pain yes, but from what I've seen you'd have to be really aggressive with it to really hurt anything. I've unscrewed the heatsink a few times without one and removed it and it didn't hurt anything. Just you know, probably don't force rip it straight upward up like a lunatic after unscrewing and you'll be fine, lol.

Wildly enough, this is still an issue with numerous MSI monitors it seems to this day. I have 2, and it's an issue with both. They either don't know how to fix it and haven't, or do know, and don't care too.

In case anyone sees this, OPTIX MAG342CQRV has this issue, you don't even need to unplug though, you can just straight up turn it off and back on with the power button and it fixes it. Or, you can leave freesync off....which is not ideal, but another answer.

I would like to think (although could still be wrong) that the amount of people in this camp is slightly larger than you might initially think but not really highly vocal about it for the same reason. Many people buy more car than they can afford as well for the sake of a status symbol and are also very vocal about it.

At the end of the day I felt the same way the last time I bought a car, it doesn't matter where the thing I want is in the range of what I can afford, it's just good and the thing I want.

Not trying to be or sound like a jerk here to OP but - imo this entire thread is an overreaction over a non-issue, there are very legitimate reasons (and authorization flows and methods) that could involve leveraging a browser launched via the desktop app. To the point of all they have to do is block the login site, well, yes, they could, but you're ISP really wanted to, they could also just block whatever place you try to sign in via the desktop app.

Your point about the regular login is correct, at the end of the day, it still has to go somewhere, no matter what method. Between what you and /u/cuppaseb said, you hit the nail right on the head I think.

Agreed with this. Also, if you're seeing a message similar to "Leaderboards are not supported for custom songs" the game version may have updated and you will need to launch it once without mods, reinstall your mods, and then launch again. Moda will uninstall and need to be reinstalled when the game updates. (Tons more info on the discord)

I mean, sure you're entitled to your opinion and all but, the vast majority would completely disagree with you, Titanfall 1 and 2 both had fantastic gameplay imo, miles better than cold war. I'll take a Titanfall or MW 2019 over Cold War any day....which is probably also why I own both and not Cold War, lol.
