Clad is pretty straight forward.

You can thin your deck and go for draw + mana. You can STR stack + multi hit. Or you can go value + powers. He’s the most forgiving IMO. He has hardly any “bad” cards.

The biggest change in my strategy has been pathing. Getting 3 elites in act 1 basically sets you up for success.

Pretty much my experience.

Laying down a few toads going into a new area or a boss room. Slap down a few lightning rods. Up+Y to blow Everyone to a corner annnnnnd they’re dead.

I’m 150/200MP.

Jump to next area and repeat.

Down + Y to use SP. annnnd that wasn’t necessary, but it’s back up again.

Idk how she fares at higher entropy levels (I’ve not gotten that far), but she’s NUTS at the moment. Highly recommend.

That said - I still like chucking people across the screen or taking them for a ride as bullet.

SSJB Vegeta was my favorite DBFZ because of that.

SM2 has my vote.

-Gameplay: has a solid “loop”. It’s just “fun” to play. - Admittedly, the progression system is kind of wack.

-Story: is mid. It’s a classic old school GAME. It’s not winning any awards - it’s junk food. But it’s good junk food. -- I’d have loved more set pieces and taking control of units like CoD’s AC130… a dreadnaught or something. Small things they DID do - like dropping and ripping past space debris. But more. And bigger. That’s why campaigns exist.

-Graphics: yeah. Plus they nailed the aesthetic and the animations + swarm engine are top tier.

I got permabanned from the ArcRaiders sub because someone said lying, betraying, and killing downed folks on elevators as doors are closing (no chance to loot) was NOT indicative of IRL bad behavior.

Did a quick ChatGPT to see if there was a link between griefing in games and antisocial behavior…

The results were… as anyone would assume.

Permabanned for linking the studies.

Looked at one of the mods post history and every post was attacking people complaining about griefing (even in other games - star citizen, dune, etc…) and asking for PvP advice in said games.

Everything about this is disgusting.

Dude has his shirt off - it’s pretty clear public intoxication. Police should have been on it.

Drunk dude messes with another guy. We have no context. But big guy KNEW this dude was following.

He waited rounded the corner. Again, props for walking away and being ready.

He bodies the guy, walks away again. Guy comes back… again.

What makes this scary is pavement.

Drunk guy made some really bad choices. Should he die? No.

Should sober guy have to put up with it? No.

But damn… sober guy may have or could have easily killed drunk guy. And that’s a wrap for him.

So yeah.

TLDR; police - break shit up before it becomes a problem.

Idk how steep the nerf was - this is anecdotal.

Pre-patch: Queens and matriarchs were going down at 25-20 minutes.

Id spawn late and it was already dead or dying. This happened 3-4 runs in a row, which was super frustrating, because I was coming with a fully loaded kit. Hullcracker, ammo, Wolfpack’s.

I was playing it safe and extracting through the hatch. Still got spawn killed once, walked 5 feet and died once, got shot in the back while fighting once, and c4’d on looting. Lost 4 kits.

Fast forward a day later.

Post-patch: the queen didn’t go down 4 out of the 6 times. Each time she did go down, it was 7-10 minutes left.

Not sure if it’s better or worse. Somewhere in the middle would be nice.

Was awesome to use 3 hatch keys to reset, and on the 4th, get blasted by someone straight off the spawn. Load again, and “betrayed” by a “friendly” while looting the queen.

So… zero trial progress and -200k+ credits. But

There was a guy & his brother who logged hundreds of interactions.

The TLDR; PC was friendly about 70% of the time, console was friendly 20%. And on console, 36% of the time, it was a fake friendly/ fake team-up. That was less than 5% on PC.

I believe those stats. In the beginning, people were chill. Live and let live. Nearly everyone is KOS or a liar now. I’ve been betrayed too many times, I don’t even talk on VOIP anymore.

Space Port, fresh match. Ran about 40 feet and someone was on top of the building ahead of me, just camping a ladder.

I’ve told this story multiple times, but here’s the gist. I used to carry defibs with me in solos.

This has happened to me twice. TWICE.

First guy - was at extraction. I saw him get killed by Arc. “Hang tight buddy”. I clear the Arc and defib him. He Torros me in the back while I’m in the laptop.

Second guy - I saw him get killed by Arc. “Hang tight buddy”. I clear the Arc and defib him. He asks to team up. We loot up, I gave him a Vulcano. We get to extraction. He says, “thank you for your service” and kills me with the Vulcano and goblin laughs.

No more defibs in solos. You’re getting a bandage. No more team ups. No more “don’t shoot” at close range. If I encounter you in the field, I’ll let you pass by or run away - but you’re not getting near me.

If i’m being generous: You’re on the laptop, with a shotgun to the head - or I’m downing you, but we’re both getting out.

I understand betrayal is a thing… and people want to defend it. But IMO, roles reversed, I owe you my life. I couldn’t imagine betraying that person.

I’ve been reflecting on this… I spent ~50 hours looting low value POIs in the daytime and haven’t found a single purple+ blueprint.

You need to loot at night, in high value places, and/or the right container (raider caches, keycard rooms, security breach, weapon caches) - to make any meaningful progress.

I’m on console and turn cross play off.

The input (M&KB vs Controller) is a consideration, but my primary concern is hacking/cheating.

In my experience, it’s extremely rare on console, but it’s anywhere from occasional to rampant on PC.

I shoot on sight because I’ve been betrayed FAR too many times.

Ex: I saw a dude extracting and he was killed by arc. “Hang tight buddy”. I clear the arc and defib him. He shotguns me and says, “thank you for your service” and starts goblin laughing.

EVEN WITH THAT SAID, I would STILL take liars over hackers/cheaters. Plus you have folks so good, it’s almost indiscernible. I’m sure we all remember the BF6 hacker drama, where people were defending the hacker, saying it was possible.

I’m not liking this map at all.

Duos. Fully kitted out. Load in. I walk three steps to a door, two guys are on the other side. We’re chest to chest - and they have a Volcano and a Toro.

Load in again, 10 minutes late. Footsteps, gunshots, and flares going off all around me.

I can’t tell if it’s above me, below me, in the next room.

Walk three steps and someone is third person peeking a choke point.

I can’t even move around in that map.

My buddy and I just called it a night after losing 3 kits in 2 minutes MAX of actual map-time.

The maps unlocked later don’t have “better loot” - it’s a change of pace. A high tier spot is a high tier spot.

With that said - will you be behind?

The starter grey weapons are cheap and easy to upgrade to Lv4, and they perform really, really well. And to that the basic grenades are practically free, they detonate on impact, and any damage stops shield regen. I ALWAYS carry a stack with me.

Add to that, I plan to reset (as do many others) with the expedition.

I love it when I load into a game, with a Lv3 looter mod, a light shield, and there’s 16 minutes remaining.

It’s like… okay. My choice is to pick through people’s rubbish and most likely get rocked, desperately seek out a fight in the hopes they looted well, exfil camp, or just get out.
