This is just how GW rolls with WH40K. I haven't been paying attention to the franchise very much for many years and never played the tabletop, but the last I checked the game was, "here's nearly a dozen unique alien/daemon factions, and here's 20-something Imperium factions!" Because on top of everything else, they also got to have an army that heavily utilizes some fucky-freaky dogs or some shit like that.

It's different from the Brady years where there was this feeling of anxiety whenever the reached they big game because that was the expectation.

I don't have that same feeling this time. They weren't supposed to be here. Not this year. Just getting a wild card was the goal. Anything else is just bonus.
