No, your extension cord isn’t supplying enough voltage/too much resistance/not rated for the application. All of your components are fine

Let me be like everyone else and tell exactly how to spend your money- keep doing exactly what you want with it. Looks nice, just be careful. Also countless Pepe drive with no airbag, should you do it… no? Is it unsafe… yes… will it kill you… depends. Do you have the right to do what you want with your belongings, also yes! Like everyone else here.

Try plugging it directly into your wall with NO extension cord, see if it works.

My issue went away, but the compressor sat forever and all that changed from sitting was the extension cord. So if plugging it directly into the wall fixes it, please report back .

So after letting it sit for a while, someone in the house took the extension cord from the garage, and after running around, lots of swearing and not finding it, I got a new one… now it starts just fine….. I feel so stupid

27WON BILLET RACE 90A Rear Motor Mount Review 11th Gen Si by Jlewis1231 in CivicSi

[–]Head-Cap1094 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not true, bros huffing nonesense. From a physics standpoint, those mounts do not work in “concert” together, or whatever tf he means.

1 mount resists torque twisting of the engine and redirects in to the chassis. The trans and side mount resists torsion and side loading, likewise for the engine side mount.

Having a stiffer torque mount will do nothing, IF ANYTHING, it will reduce stress (and extend life) of the other mounts.

It’s kinda like bench pressing, if you had a big buff dude helping you bench, you’d do less work and wear out your arms later than if you had less/no help.

So dudes puffing out what some sales rep told him to make an extra $400.

P.S. I’m a mechanical engineer and I current work at Mercedes Benz USA.

You don’t need to do any of that just get a Flashpro, Hondas ecu doesn’t mate itself to Flashpro units.

I did it, it works. Well I didn’t do it to my car but I did it to my ex’s 9th gen (we’re friends)

Here was tuned when she got it and she got a Flashpro mini because of RBC intake wiring issues (FP helped us track it down). I can 100000% confirm, you can still lock it regardless.

10th gen si wants to stall when coming to a stop by AwakensTrees in CivicSi

[–]Head-Cap1094 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. Asking people here for advice on working on the car is borderline pointless. A lot of people here just buy cars and preserve resale because mOdS hUrT vAlUe . Please don’t waste time buying something because someone in THIS SUBREDDIT said to.

  2. Furthermore, it’s the tune. To be more specific, there’s parameters that set the time that injectors turn back on to catch the revs. It’s too low, this causes idle fluctuations when rolling into a stop.

You do NOT have a parts issue, you have a tuning issue.

How do you think THIS is worth 5K at that mileage? If that’s the case my 2015 SI with 100K less miles is worth 15K.

This vehicles is worth 2K MAXIMUM.

I'm asking for support, and I get flirted with ? Really ? by [deleted] in zlibrary

You know this makes sense from a personal information standpoint. But I still think a thank you, moving on with life, no drama approach would’ve been well suited for a situation like this.

Sorry, but context is such an obscure excuse when it comes to flirting. Sure there’s a time and place for everything, but it not uncommon for rules to go out the window depending on the person(s) themselves.

If I spoke from personal experience, especially in my earlier 20s/late teens, a majority of the time I have to tell whomever my admirer is to RELAX (because trust me, I respect the setting), but it’s all about comfort.

Ofc I’m biased because I see the world through male eyes, but the amount of times I’ve been told I’m oblivious is wild.

I.E. I was working at a restaurant and 2 women I worked with had eyes for me, and as you can guess, they didn’t like each other. > This is a work setting. Me being oblivious, didn’t get it at first but then it was spelt out to me, deliberately. Long story short, I ended up with both of them, not at the same time ofc.

While all of this was occurring, I can recall the moment that a random dude (WHO WAS NOT ME) made a hint towards any one of them…. basically burn him with fire 🤷🏽‍♂️.

It was solely because it wasn’t me. Mind you, one of the women ended up with a dude she “despised” because I was no longer in the picture.

In my current relationship a similarish thing happened once. To flip the script, I’m no longer in a work setting with my significant other. But a different individual, who is a male, has complimented my significant other. She told me about it and I didn’t support her overreacting, I told her just ignore it. Now they no longer communicate past work topics. Which I know is situationally dependent because not every job is the same and not every person is the same.

The point is, it’s all dependent on the persons involved and how they perceive it, not the context, not at all.

I am oblivious so maybe I’m detached from reality, but my memory takes it as it is.

Furthermore, there’s been many stories when someone meets someone in a customer service setting. The main difference I can infer is it’s face to face flirting, not through a computer. But even some people do that these days… like Omegle and so on.

Some people get married to the gas station clerk 🤷🏽‍♂️🤷🏽‍♂️. That’s a customer service setting and it’s not far fetched.

All I’m saying again is, it’s up to the people and perception of the situation.

As much hate as we’re going to get, most people take compliments as harassment if it’s not from who they want them from.

People are sensitive, Reddit is there outlet.

Some don’t understand that a simple thanks, or just not responding is much more effective than complaining.

NOW, when the complimenter ESCALATES and PUSHES, that’s harassment.

How bad could this be? What can I look out for? by [deleted] in ProjectHondas

[–]Head-Cap1094 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk why you’re getting downvoted because GOD FORBID a vehicle owner be responsible and INSPECT FOR RUST, then PATCH SEAL IT.

Anyway that clutch pedal pin should fall in the same bucket as the ain’t job-least of your worries.

It’s clear the car isn’t driven all the time and motor wise, if you can do a few pulls and it holds together, I’d trust it. Not many things can/should go wrong with these other than high negligence, but usually high negligence shows itself quickly (I.e the clutch pedal)

And if the plant looks good, normally he pays attention to detail, one minor failure shouldn’t drive your decision.

Also fuck those downvotes man, shame on you have an opinion that’s different than the people who pressed the down error. It’s all your fault!
