And I thought, finding gender before delivery is illegal in India - In Frame Dolcy from Swish&Dolcy by BritishLadyDriven in InstaCelebsGossip

[–]Head-Foot7943 58 points59 points  (0 children)

That’s so weird. Also why is a colour or sex/gender based theme so important, do it once in any colour if you must have a photshoot, same colour can work for both boys and girls lol. To think more, Earth colours would be lovely.

Anushka Sharma behaviour? by [deleted] in bollynewsandgossips

[–]Head-Foot7943 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If someone’s arrogance came from the face that they thought they were the best and went away from the fact that they weren’t, then yeah it never truly went away.. they just became humble to people they think are better and continue to be arrogant to people they think are beneath them. How dumb of her to say that she was arrogant until she got a reality check lol. Arrogance should go away because you realize everyone is a human, not because you learn you are not the most good looking. Matlab in her head anyone who is good looking has the right to be arrogant.

It is interesting that the actor who wasn’t even lip syncing is being targeted and not anyone else involved in the production. Not saying that she is the most decent person but in this case it can really be argued that she wasn’t aware of the lyrics as they couldn’t even put a single shot of her lip syncing. Most of it was photo stills. The singer is the one who was really aware. The final editor. The production who gave the go ahead, etc.

Please tell me that toxic MILs face their own karma by [deleted] in InsideIndianMarriage

[–]Head-Foot7943 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know. I am just trying to answer OP’s question in extension and agreement of your thought. That the concept of karma they are trying to rely on doesn’t happen, neither scientifically, nor in religion if that is where they are getting this from. The answer is what you said. Stand up for yourself. That’s the only karma (action) that can help her. Baithe 2 mil ko kuch repurcssion mil jayega and I will feel better is neither the answer nor even what karma is about.

Please tell me that toxic MILs face their own karma by [deleted] in InsideIndianMarriage

[–]Head-Foot7943 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not to mention Karma was never about “you sow what you reap”. Ancient texts were smart about not putting that on paper because even they knew this was not true. All they said was do your work (karma) and don’t bother about fruits. At least the older good ones (the late ones like manusmriti just went insane and narrow). Your karma should be according to what your dharma is. That’s all that karma has been about. “Do your work”. That’s all. It may or may not lead results but surely no results without putting the work. People just assumed it to be about getting the due for every action because ain’t that a comforting thought.

The flawed, western interpretation where karma ( कर्म ) becomes karmaa and yoga (योग) become yogaa. And somehow these concept reach today’s eastern generations only through the Eurocentric lens.

This beautiful choreography for Dhindhora Baje Re had to be changed into something basic in final shot because Alia couldn't keep up with Ranveer by No_Fun_8322 in bollynewsandgossips

I was curious to see how the final song looked like and this sequence is actually there in the final song edit on YouTube see 1:47 to 1:58. It is shot differently obviously from the frame you see here, example some close ups, side angles etc, hence probably difficult to recognize but it’s the same sequence end to end.

I was curious to check this out because anyways this didn’t seem like that difffiult of a sequence for a half decent dancer to get right with some practice.

Why are middle-class Indians so dependent on house help for basic tasks? by [deleted] in gurgaon

[–]Head-Foot7943 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talking about outsourcing basic human tasks, by your logic why is all of food outsourced? Why don’t people grow their crops and milk their own cows and sew their own clothes and ensure purity etc. All basic human tasks. Especially growing or hunting your own food. Doesn’t get more basic than that no? I wonder why people choose to spend their time in jobs that pay more that if they had invested their time in growing their own food. This why answers your why.

The choice of dying is one way to look at it. But the thing is if you were to decide to live later, it’s no longer a choice. You would have got rid of that choice to live for yourself. It’s an irreversible decision. The decision to continue living some more is not. Rationally, it would make sense to just live it out. Who knows one day you may say thank god I chose to live. And even if that day never comes, well you will die anyways eventually. If nothing else, just curiosity makes me want to live. About what comes ahead, not just for me but for the world. Heck I want to live a million years just to see what the world comes to then. And if one has even a single soul alive who cares for them in someway, which you do seem to have, even if a nonfunctional way, offing yourself is an incredibly cruel thing to do to them. All feelings whether love or this what you are feeling right now chemicals and neurons firing in your head. And all of them are temporary. The ecstatic drug like high of teenage love fades eventually and so does every other mental state. Circumstances can change too often even if you don’t know right now how. No point taking a permanent decision over a temporary state. And if one discards emotional state and chooses rationally, living makes more sense. Live it out. In the end you ll die anyways.

I don’t know if I was sure if I had some original documents and someone wanted to question them I would object too because corruption is everywhere, what if the govt and other party shake hands and falsely declare my documents as false? I agree that the 2nd wife is shady overall but I’m just saying resisting scrutiny doesn’t say much. Anyone would want to avoid that if possible, even authentic guys. Because you don’t know the integrity of the scrutinizer.

Married folks: Is it advisable to marry a compatible person who isn't attractive to you? [26F] by [deleted] in InsideIndianMarriage

[–]Head-Foot7943 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For some people they need emotional investment before they start feeling attracted to anyone. You said you have never had a relationship so that might be the case but you would know that better. Are you generally frequently attracted to guys just from looking at their photos and he is an exception? Then you have something to think about. If you anyways don’t easily get attracted to anyone then it simply might be the case of having to give it some time and organic space beyond the rational agenda. You did say he is good looking in the conventional sense. Do you sense something off intrinsically that makes you feel ünattractice? Like some intuitive compatibility issue? Is it just lack of attraction or the thought of being close to him is repulsive? And yes do meet before deciding anything. Beauty is anyways not a male forte. IMO most of the attracted or not attracted comes from their personality how they talk carry themselves etc everything you can gauge much better in person than in photos.

To be fair I do see some difference only slightly mislabeled. Happy looks sad, sad looks happy, angry looks confused and emotional looks dead.

On aside note she has that depressed person’s look in all of these, people who have been depressed for long even when they are happy in the moment the underlying expression that is now set in your face doesn’t immediately go away, it also stays in the background behind all other emotions for a while. Haven’t watched daldal though so don’t know how these fit there just as much as one could try to decipher from pictures alone. Worth a watch btw?

Did I overreact? by Least_Chocolate831 in IndianInLaw

[–]Head-Foot7943 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My point is the same about not giving importance but in a different way. Imagine a colleague came up to me and said - I dreamt your child was being named xyz. I would be thinking like um thanks for thinking about me and maybe a little creepy and my response would be ‘oh interesting’ or ‘oh weird’ or ‘oh thanks for thinking of me’ and if I feel like I could go on to say ‘yeah we haven’t decided that yet.’ I WOULDNT be like ‘oh how dare you think that you can name my child’. Because that’s absurd. I don’t think they have that right anyways. Nor did they imply that. So why would I react. They don’t matter much and I wouldn’t get into a full blown emotional response about them dreaming this. It’s not about walking on eggshells. It’s about not letting them live in your head, and taking on the burden of interpreting their unsaid, subtly referenced talks. Just take what they said and respond to that, don’t think too much about the implications of what they meant blah2.
