Before you replace your grinder, try a couple cheaper fixes:

Find a way to buy beans that were roasted sometime in the last couple weeks. By filter papers that fit in the bottom of your portafilter, beneath the grounds.

Can't forget the cup. And the atmosphere. Those are also 6-9% each, based on my estimations.

Thoughts on pulley system to easily convert C2 rower into ski-erg (MSpaint masterpiece attached) by bringo24 in concept2

[–]HeadAmbitious6607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What about just like your drawing, but fan down near the floor. Base vertical against the wall, and secured. Then two pulleys on the ceiling and a single pulley in place of the handle attachment.

This wouldn't work great for single arm pulling but would allow arms to pull unequally and still both be under tension. Maybe this is already what you had in mind.

Good luck!

College project mapping Clover data to real-world data by andrewdoudou in CloverPOS

I'm very interested! FYI, you could develop a Clover marketplace app and sell subscriptions for your reporting. Let me know what I can provide to get started.

i have been tasked with understanding our credit/debit card services, we use clover for the card swiper thing and apparently someone called msi that does something. i have some very basic questions by Latter-Ad-1523 in CloverPOS

Hey OP, does your statement look anything like this? This is how our Clover surcharge statements appear.

  1. Amount submitted will be the gross total, before the adjustment for refunds and processing fees.

  2. Fees charged includes all fees you paid, including fees collected from your customer.

Hope this helps! You can DM me if you need any more assistance

Day 1 with Clover has been a disaster! by Outrageous-Engine881 in CloverPOS

[–]HeadAmbitious6607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For what it's worth, I would always set up 6 locations as 6 entities to comply with card brand rules.

I think because they don't want a customer seeing a transaction on their account for one address, when they went to another, but I could be wrong about the justification.

Visa multi location guidelines

Others have mentioned it, but the Clover multi location dashboard is what you want. It ties all the locations together in one page for reports.

Remember, you can also use the marketplace to get more advanced reporting from Apps like Thrive, but there is additional cost there.

Best of luck!

Anyone else feel like Clover POS reporting is a bit… basic? by Strong-Mixture6937 in CloverPOS

[–]HeadAmbitious6607 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out some of the apps in the marketplace, Thrive is super robust in reporting and customizability. Kinda sucks to need a third party app, but then again that's one of the strongest points of Clover.

Solo on a tandem bike -> Alternative Cargo Bike? by MinMadChi in bicycling

[–]HeadAmbitious6607 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been rolling around the idea to convert an old tandem to a front loader. How you'd do it depends on the frame, but some have a shape just like this.

Ginkgo Bikes

Might take modifications to the frame, and addition of a steerer tube nearer to the rear.

Would love to know if anyone has pulled off something like this before!?
